@SFBDim One of the greatest ever* still awaits with Vagrant Story.
* I’m going to be honest that some parts of the battle system didn’t age well. Don’t shy away from reading a short tutorial on that. But literally everything else about the game is perfection.
@raveeshbhalla@GergelyOrosz Got ya. Thanks!
So are these two different non-overlapping paths that startups choose to follow?
I had also assumed “angel seed round” to be the initial funding round that if proven out would lead to further funding. So I saw it as the first step in a VC funded startups path.
@RaveofRavendale One I’ve been very curious about since I noticed is if participating in social media on a personal capacity has impacted the marketing plan and performance of games.
@GergelyOrosz@groby In my (limited) experience, the second point is something that most established companies will strictly adhere to if they really want to use a software.
Voluntary donation? Unlikely.
License disallows usage? Look for alternative. We tried and they don’t work? Okay, pay.
@DuelCorp In waves makes it feel more impactful each skirmish. Like each wave is building and progressing to something.
The chaos of mass fight is fun but feels more like… background.
@RedArtGames Had I realized I would have bought digital. But honestly even then, maybe I’d just skip buying. Card on disk is the worse of all worlds. Don’t actually have the game, but need to have the cartridge with ya. Terrible.
@RedArtGames Full game. I bought Bravely Default directly from Nintendo cause I couldn’t find the physical anywhere else. Waited more than a week for it to get here only to find out it’s a key one. Should have checked I guess. But definitely feel cheated and deflated. Lesson learned.
@ChrisGethard “The door” and the episode was one of the first things that crossed my mind when the allegations started popping up. The Chris Gethard Extended Universe is crazy.
@GrundislavGames Call to action answered. It was on my wishlist, and now it’s on my backlog. Unsure if I’ll get to it soon, but hope it doesn’t break the un-fun record yet.
@patio11 The first time I ran into this maze I eventually got to a person by looking for the accessibility options.
Lately its easier to get to a person but still hard and not easily replicable.
End survey asks how hard was it to find a person. Felt they were happy to get a low score.
