The test protocol is to take people from the bivariate panel, fit them to the respirator per the instructions for use, and then have them do the test.

Additional testing beyond NIOSH requirements demonstrates excellent fit and very low CO2 build up.

While it doesn't have NIOSH approval yet, it has NIOSH test results, which it passed, including passing fit tests on all subjects. It costs just $150 and is the only clear mask I would consider.

The reason the respirator has a bit of bulk is to accommodate our patented long-life filter. The mechanical filter media is pleated creating a surface area of 550 sq cm which greatly improve breathability.

Great question. We don't view this as a risk for Canopy. We've conducted testing for microbial growth according to the DIN EN ISO 846:2019 protocol and found that our filter media contains no nutrients for the growth of fungi or bacteria. Hope this helps!
