I love building at the intersection of infosec, Python, automation, and APIs. SSH tunnels are cool too.

SaaS Pegasus is now available open-source!

Pegasus's open source edition is a ready-to-use Django project foundation built for the modern era. It's the same project setup that’s powered thousands of apps for 7+ years, now available in an MIT-licensed, customizable core.

My goal is to make Pegasus the best way to start a Django project and I believe that’s already true today. Try it out below and let me know if you agree.

This "Reverse Engineering American Healthcare to Create a Custom Hybrid Stack" guide as I like to call it is must read if you are considering #healthcare alternatives for your family.

The SaaS Pegasus Black Friday sale is live! The unlimited license is 50% off ($500 savings).

This is a legitimately rare deal. I don’t believe in the growth hack thing of having fake discounts running perpetually. I only do sales once a year.

If you’ve been thinking about grabbing Pegasus, this really is the time.

Few more deals I’ve added for #infosec #BlackFriday - happy holidays everyone. Thanks for being such a great community. https://t.co/gjcSAaYh9v

@_m27e @keygen_sh "AWS to Bare Metal Two Years Later: Answering Your Toughest Questions About Leaving AWS" - https://t.co/BEUoosykBU

Just curious if you had to do it all over again, as a solo founder, what would you do differently?

[BRENNON @opsdisk]

Been bingeing @_m27e's blog posts about building @keygen_sh as a solo founder...good stuff!

I'd love to see one about your infrastructure stack, other services you leverage, challenges/trade-offs, how it's evolved over the years, and any other tips!

@_m27e @keygen_sh Boring is good! I'd find it interesting how you approached it wrt minimizing complexity, going with a PaaS vs bare-metal, addressing compliance frameworks (if applicable), backups and platform reconstitution. Seen some interesting discussions around it like...

📊 Just published my deep dive into the 2024 cybersecurity market

The numbers are wild:

- 892 deals
- $60B total value
- 96% growth in AI security funding
- 91% of M&A value in just 10 deals
- Plus tons more

A lot changed this year, and not in the ways most people think.

Spoke to a smart founder (successful exit under his belt) pondering his next infosec startup.

Amongst all the advice he’s gotten till now, nobody said “make sure the product works”.

I’d like to say it’s cause that’s table-stakes but I’d be lying.

Infosec ignores this too much.
