So long and thanks for all the fish!
@BambulabGlobal If you need a microSD card to print via LAN (again - WHY?), why can't i ACCESS the microSD card in LAN mode? What is this nonsense? Are you actively trying to discourage people from using local mode and forcing them to use your cloud with dark patterns? Shameful.
@BambulabGlobal Cloud maintenance is scheduled hours from now, why is the cloud down? I can't print anything, don't have a microSD card handy, and it's 4am so it's not like i can run to a store and buy it. Why do i need a microSD card to print via LAN? Ridiculous setup.
@greentheonly@OldMateEngineer@TESLA_winston At a makerfaire of some sort, i was sitting right next to his printer's exposed main PCB when it decided to send capacitor confetti in my face. No permanent damage to face, but the smell lingered. [2/2]
@greentheonly@OldMateEngineer@TESLA_winston It's the hardware equivalent of using global variables as your store/registry, then blaming others when your app crashes in unexpected ways.
I once knew a guy who "cost-reduced" a DC connector by reusing an AC tri-prong connector on his 3D printer (early reprap days). [1/2]
@Mayer26022854@mailbird@emclient I haven't used @emclient in a while, it's really nice to be able to customize the UI to your whim completely (including shortcuts). And, yaknow, not having to deal with subscriptions and ads plastered OVER YOUR GOD DAMNED inbox.
Placing ads that block access to your inbox into a PAID desktop app, and having the user go to web to dismiss it - "simple" and normal in @mailbird's newly deranged company culture.
They don't give a shit about their existing customers, only new leads.
@mailbird I "simply" need to do multiple needless steps *ON THE WEB* to remove an ad banner IN MY INBOX in a DESKTOP APP.
Are you fucking insane?
And what business do you have putting ads in MY INBOX in the first place?!
I've cancelled my subscription after 7 years.
Good bye.
@Mayer26022854@mailbird They've gone from bad to worse in the past 3-4 years. Too bad, they used to be a good company with a good product. They don't give a rat's ass about the customer or the UX, it's all about marketing and sales now.
. @mailbird used to be a good Windows email client, but has been turned into a steaming pile of human shit thanks to their marketing. I can't use it for A DAY now without them plastering some kind of an ad over the UI.
And that's with a fully paid business subscription.

@mailbird That does it, i'm uninstalling this garbage pile and cancelling my subscription. I suggest anyone considering it to do the same. Your Inbox will not be your Inbox - it will be their ad space.
