In modern day warfare, fighter pilots, when they detect a lock, eject, since it is hard to evade the current technologically advanced air-to-air missiles, and taking a hit and then managing to eject can be a fatal gamble. The fact that two Rafales limped back after taking hits suggests the pilots never received a lock warning. The pilot of the downed Rafale who survived was grievously injured and had his leg amputated.

@ashoswai That's true. FYI, for the Indian audience, IAF lost six aircraft, a Mirage-2000 in Pampore, a Su-30MKI and a MiG-29 in Ramban, a Rafale in Bathinda, and two more Rafales near Bathinda that managed to return but are considered mission kills/ out of service. All pilots survived.

The details of the "defense cooperation agreement" are symbolic, some are even hilarious, like requiring each side to cover the expenses of its own troops during joint military drills. U.S. military did not carry out any strikes on Iran on Saturday night, marking two consecutive days without strikes. Iran also refrained from launching any missiles or drones at Arab countries for a second straight day.
