at this moment I find myself torn beyond repair. I have to say that I can no longer do any content for @TYTPolitics or @TYT I love the followers of these platforms as they represent the real left and see the world just as I do, even more than most of my family. But at this moment my soul is telling me that I can not continue this relationship and it hurts because I love some folk over there, @SharonReedLive, @Rashad_Richey and others.
The left deserves an unmetered vanguard in this moment and it seems that acceptability is more important than our fierce fight.
Since the election I have watched our side minimized the threat of the dangerous right. I can not watch that happen.
A check is not enough...
interesting how media shakeups happen around this time yearly contracts start expiring. remember last year Candace Owens was feigning anti-zionism and Crowder was taking on BIG CON the year prior.
wonder if these sorts of career concerns ever influence lefty media behavior
"This is the first time @FTC has ever sought to block a merger not just because it's gonna be bad for consumers, but also for workers."
@linakhanFTC and @hasanthehun discuss how the FTC's win today blocking the Kroger-Albertsons merger will protect worker bargaining power.🔥🔥
Posting on Facebook, which the company that employed me required me to do, is not the same as that media company selling its naming rights to a crypto betting site. That's just... becoming "corporate media."
Still no response to @SamSeder's offer to come on for a conversation.
Went on @majorityfm with @SamSeder and @EmmaVigeland to discuss what's happened in Syria: winners, losers, and where things go from here.

Bruh Pete Buttigieg is currently in a public dispute with the CEO of Delta because of consumer protections he put in place while Cenk is begging for a job from Elon Musk on Twitter and expressing relief at Trump’s victory. What a loser.
Maybe Dr. Oz owning $550,000 in UnitedHealth stock and seeking to run the agency that oversees UnitedHealth's biggest cash cow (Medicare Advantage) should get more attention

This is an important thread debunking @ezraklein’s obviously incorrect take on the politics of student debt.
@BharatRamamurti sells this short— we’ve polled this extensively. Debt relief remained popular through years of right-wing attacks.
Especially with younger Republicans.
The FTC under Lina Khan has done things to help NORMAL people and prevent them from getting SCREWED over. Most people don't hear about this stuff, so here are some of the biggest wins and actions 🧵
I helped start the union at TYT to try to get health insurance and paid days off. My co-workers shared my opinion that full-time video editing work should come w/ benefits. Cenk didn't agree.
I'd love to know what Ana thinks Emma is being dishonest about.
On the stream with @hasanthehun, FTC Chair @linakhanFTC talks about blocking mergers not just because they’re bad for consumers, but also when they’re bad for workers.
Trump moved to replace her today
This is legitimately sad and pathetic. But the fish rots from the head and that's always been the issue with TYT.
Abandoning progressivism in this moment will be seen as a colossal error in a few years. I feel so bad for @EmmaVigeland and @SamSeder
It's an investment. And it's pretty clear that this one has been worth it (and then some) for Musk, given how he's now arguably obtained more control over the national conversation than any other private citizen in American history.
Dear Liberals: For the love of god find someone other than the Cheneys and John Bolton to tout, platform, and promote. Please actually learn something from the election.
Elon Musk spent at least $130 million to elect Trump, despite $3300 being the maximum an individual can legally donate.
He increases his wealth by $333 million each day.
But tell me again how taxing billionaires and campaign finance reform are “radical,” “far-Left,” policies.
