@dfat they said my passport was finalised Friday morning but wasn’t printed yet. I need it by Monday for my travel. How long does it take to print it? #australianpassport#dfat

@dfat What's the turn around time to get a response on that email address you keep publishing? I have sent 5 emails over 3 weeks and still no response....
@dfat What time should I start queueing in order to speak to someone at Sydney office? 3AM? 4AM? does anyone have advice? How early is necessary to go?
@katieloojones @dfat@DFATVic Did you get your passport? I think the only way to do it is to queue unfortunately. I think they only process it if you queue.

I’ve heard that they won’t do anything until 3 days before your travel so I don’t know if going in earlier is a waste of time or not? I’ve gotten through the phone twice and they don’t do anything
@nalaimo@dfat @stussy_ktsls @TimWattsMP I've sent an email via the website three weeks ago, and 4 direct within the last three weeks and have received nothing. I even attached my Dad's doctors report of late stage cancer and still no response....
@dfat I've emailed four times over the last two weeks and no answer. I finally got through to the call centre and they said they would put it in priority and someone would call me back to pay the fee in two days - but that never happened. Now what?
@ironide@brontefreya@dfat Did you get it today as promised? I got through on the phone Tuesday and they said they would escalate it to be done in two days and so far I have received nothing... on hold with them now... 2 hours so far...
@dfat I have emailed that address three times over the last 10 days and still no response. If I don’t hear back in the next week, my only option will be to queue I guess.
@dfat I see you changed the timeframe today from “up to 6 weeks” to “minimum of 6 weeks”. Will those of us who lodged with the 6 week promise still have that “honoured”? Is there any way I can pay now to have priority?
