@patrickc I think there is also a component of leaders and broader society needing to have the “will to have nice things.”
Every fountain everywhere will lose a battle with entropy. Someone needs to choose, and keep choosing, that the fountain is a priority.

@bindelj I haven't seen his claims, but while most people with ADHD are helped by stimulant meds, a number aren't, and for those people stimulants can just make things worse. I'm one of that latter set, sadly, but it took me a few trials to establish it. Maybe he is too?

It's called a "Distraction Catcher":
@ahnlak I use Shokz and they work for me. The sound quality won't satisfy audiophiles, but is good enough imho. I wear them when cycling on the commute, and I wear them all day on zoom calls - really comfortable and I forget I've got them on. You do get spillage if they are loud.
I was there for this today. Nice to meet new people, and good to see the kinds of things their dept can do for industry. Particularly making Pokémon teams...
