@SeamusJoyce Oh and Cllr Joyce. Try to behave like an elected official. Why don’t you reply directly to the original tweet with your insults - hiding from something?
@SeamusJoyce It is really not about moving vehicles orderly. It is about reducing overall traffic volumes and keeping essential traffic on main roads where it should be
@friendsofsheen1@andree_frieze@AlexanderEhmann I hope so. The east sheen consultation report showed traffic through sheen gate has dropped substantially since the restrictions were put in place. Removing them now would be negligent.
@AlexanderEhmann@psimonk@StevoLaughton Kick in the teeth for folks who have been campaigning for change for 4 years. I can’t believe that going back to the original layout (Seamus’ recommendation) is the best that could be done. The decision lacks ambition I am sad to say.
@AlexanderEhmann@psimonk@StevoLaughton the decision was therefore made based on the majority of negative responses with positive responses being discounted for the final decision. 66.6% were ‘for’ restrictions there was scope to take intermediate steps - do nothing was selected.
@AlexanderEhmann@psimonk@StevoLaughton Fair enough on time spent on this. But only 33.5% of respondents supported removal of all restrictions. So why is that the recommendation?
@psimonk@StevoLaughton@AlexanderEhmann Many of the responses were not from the ‘core area’ they need to be split out. Consultation report is poor, authors clearly looking for a justification to do nothing.
