@dhh We do it in around 4 to 5 minutes to run around 5k functional tests, including docker containers starting, etc. Run in parallel groups using codeception + PHP. Usual local workflow would be running specific tests from a package depending on your changes.

@dhh As I use Mac, Windows, and Linux Mint this was a struggle. What works for me was a keyboard switch. I use a mac keyboard with my Mac and a mechanical keyboard when using Windows/Linux. My brain now instantly recognizes and uses correct ctrl/command combo. It is pretty amazing.

@dhh Anything before the M series was a complete waste of money for DEVs. Had 3 different mac book pros before getting my first m1 and they were throttling and hitting 80C+ for any moderate workload. Had to download 3rd party apps to monitor temperature and run FANs to max power.

But yeah, electricity prices are insane to be honest.

@levelsio Yeap! I was also drinking it for years as a "better" replacement than cow milk. I'm mostly avoiding it now. They have a bio version which has only 3 ingredients, oats, water, and salt, but the taste is not it..
