There's so much to unpick here. First, people should be valued for more than just their economic contribution. And second, if anyone should rise to their duty, it's the government that has driven disabled people into poverty, cold and hunger.

@OxfordDiplomat I know right, plus some such nonsense about those less able in society 'doing their duty'. Cut taxes, but make those unable to work, work. But from home. Madness.
We absolutely must get these wretches out of Government #ToriesOutNow
Appointing reckless #Brexit referendum instigator Cameron as Foreign Sec is a democratic embarrassment. If Sunak canβt even find one of his 350 MPs to take on one of the most important jobs in Govt, why on earth should this party be governing at all? We need a #GeneralElectionNow
@iainherd@Smyth_Chris@KevinASchofield Or supports those that fail and therefore have no income. Ah, wait. I see! For those who have money and security to fall back on. Jog on Sunak, just this suggestion is squandering the possibilities of ingenuity, creativity and drive for those from poorer homes.

I'm surprised he had time to pursue an NHS doctor expressing her opinions in print - then again, he had just spent 3 weeks away from his constituents being paid Β£400k to eat kangaroo bits in the jungle.
All of which was disgustingly insensitive to those bereaved by Covid. (3/3)
@OctopusEnergy, really poor customer service about my Bulb balance transfer. I've tried emailing, you give shoddy answers and I haven't got time to sit and wait half a day to speak to someone. If your customer service is going to be email, improvements must be made.
@theAliceRoberts I hope you have wonderous celebrations planned for your half century! You have given us so much! me (mere undergrad), and my girls (mere ks2 and ks3) find everything you teach utterly fascinating. You've inspired us to learn more and ignited our love of humanism and historyβ€οΈ
This is massive. A first, we think, in British political history: tactical voting guidance for the *local elections*. They said it couldn't be done. *We* said it couldn't be done. But here it is. Vote suppressing Tories, eat your hearts out.
