Members of the @MeteoKenya (KMD) calibrate a tipping bucket rain gauge for the 3D-PAWS (3D-Printed Automatic Weather Station). Martin Steinson of COMET has been working with the KMD to fabricate 3D-PAWS in support of the Famine Early Warning System Network (@FEWSNET ).

The COMET Team installed the latest version of 3D-PAWS at the @colorado_stem in Westminster, CO last week. The 3D-PAWS allows students at the school to learn about data collection and the scientific process while monitoring weather conditions in their own backyard.

An update on the snow season!

Today is the first day since November 2nd, 2022 that we don't have #snow on our snow pillow. Zero depth, zero snow water equivalent. Still plenty of patches around the lab though!
