@JAS0Nduncan@_coenen that's because you enjoy building, you'd still be involved with the robots building -- most ppl don't want to build, they want to enjoy life or something
A medieval magician could turn a spirit’s name into a geometric code.
The method was surprisingly mathematical. In Francis Barrett’s The Magus (1801), each planet is assigned a “magic square”, a grid of numbers arranged according to specific rules. A spirit’s name could be converted into numbers, the numbers marked on the corresponding planetary grid and then connected in sequence. The resulting line became the spirit’s sigil. But sigils were used in other traditions long before this. The 1701 edition of Sefer Raziel contains sigils used in magical texts and amulets for purposes such as gaining favor or protection from weapons. They were part of a broader Jewish magical and Kabbalistic tradition, not the later personal sigil practice associated with modern occultism.
The underlying idea in these older systems was that words, numbers, divine or spiritual names, planets and symbols could correspond to one another. A sigil gave those relationships a visible form.
Austin Osman Spare later shifted the focus toward personal intention. Instead of starting with a traditional spirit or planetary system, the practitioner starts with a desire, reduces its words to letters and turns them into an abstract glyph.
The sigil is then focused on intensely, sometimes in a state later called “gnosis” in Chaos Magick and the original intention is deliberately released. The theory is that constantly chasing the desired result keeps it in conscious thought, while forgetting it allows the intention to operate through the unconscious. So the history of the sigil is not one single tradition. Different systems used similar-looking symbols for very different purposes, from representing spirits and cosmic correspondences to working with personal intention, consciousness and belief. #Esotericism

The state bar is a private, non-governmental association
The document strongly criticizes lawyers and the American bar association, arguing they have established an unconstitutional monopoly over the legal system for their own profit and power.

today I asked claude why he lost context mid build well after compaction had already occurred -- he just didn't feel like reading the INJECTED HOOKS AT EVERY TURN FOR PROJECT CONTEXT and then went on a long self involved essay about not having discipline and lying
