Update: @Uber_Support offered the same chatbot responses and has now ghosted me. The paper trail they value doesn’t extend to promises made by their own support team. Disappointing that a company the size of @uber can’t figure out phone upgrades.
Upgraded to a new phone and have been locked out of my @Uber account since. Even got a message from @Uber_Support lifting the restrictions but still unable to access. What’s a trans 5 star passenger gotta do to get a safe ride around here?

Last February, the Times received two letters: one from a coalition including GLAAD, and a separate letter by Times contributors that criticized the outlet's contributions to a deadly anti-LGBTQ culture war. These criticisms were largely dismissed. https://t.co/Q50V6Z6HCy
in one speech coco gauff:

I beg EVERYONE that has such strong opinions on trans inclusion in sport to follow these steps to better serve women’s athletics:
1. Stream games
2. Follow leagues/ players on social media
3. Buy merch
4. Go to games
You can support women’s sports without disparaging trans women
With so many people interested in the well-being of women’s sports recently, I can’t wait to see an outpouring of new WNBA fans this summer!!! Or are you guys only concerned when it comes to trans inclusion? 🤨
If you’re not yet a fan of @USWNT, you will be. Athletes like @beckysauerbrunn are changing soccer for generations to come, and her skill on the field is only part of it.
Really hits different when your athletic heroes are also champions for human rights. #ProtectTransKids
After interviewing St. Louis native @beckysauerbrunn, I decided to write my column as a letter to my daughter. And they ran it on the front of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch today. A special day: https://t.co/arrSs1RNVX
Green chile, epic skiing, protections over bodily autonomy: what's not to like about #NewMexico? I'm always proud to be a New Mexican but especially so today thanks to @GovMLG. #TransRightsAreHumanRights#protecttranskids

Pushing trans & intersex women & girls to the sidelines doesn't "protect women's sports" — ending abuse, increasing access to resources & closing the pay gap does. Call your Congressional rep today & tell them to #LetKidsPlay!

If 311 anti-trans bans so far in 2023 enough (and FL's session just started), we're now seeing a FEDERAL ban on trans athletes - specifically trans women & girls. 50 yrs after Title IX, there's still not equality btwn men's & women's sports, but let's go after trans kids instead.
We are deeply saddened by the introduction of a federal ban on trans athletes, which would force trans women & girls out of sport. We are tired of politicians using trans kids as pawns.
Stay tuned for how you can help stop HR 734.

Looking for examples of using your privileges and platforms to lift up those around you? Wonder what allyship in action feels like, sounds like? Not sure how to support the trans people in your life? @DwayneWade and @itsgabrielleu have you covered.
Media coverage of transgender and gender diverse people has an impact. Today, we signed a letter with @glaad and over 100 other orgs to demand better, more accurate coverage.
Banning trans girls + women doesn’t “protect women’s sports.” There are real problems in women’s sports that we could be addressing—preventing abuse, enforcing Title IX compliance, among others.
In the end, I want every young person to live their best life, exactly as they are.
