Deconstruction till you've nothing left at all springs a renaissance of artistic expression - nice idea and would rhyme with history too
The main issue here is the artifical propping up of the 'deconstructive' or in this case for a lot of examples, destrcutive music artifically propped up by an organisation
You're not just fighting against the meat of the artistic expression, you're fighting the industry plant that's peddling it
@aumkar_r Tennis is an incredible sport because it is the perfect lone wolf manifestation in an area dominated by pack-dynamic team structures
Coming over to get even better at tennis and padel now @aumkar_r
I have nothing to comment about Yash's acting or any of those elements
Just listen to the quality of dialogue - lucid but contemporaneous, delivered with respect to the source material but with enough masala to engage your emotions
What an incredible scene
@scottstts Don’t let anyone build centralized data centers and watch the “necessity is the mother of invention” and Jevons paradox kick in at the same time
Mac-minis for the win
@maxasteele Technological expansion is all great but the hubris in communication is not going to scale, especially in a democracy, especially especially in a TikTok dominated population that loves shutting on things
@IterIntellectus Next step is making their own tools or making their own environment, both with an optimization functoin for something we (humans) can notice - physical world, financial world, medical world, spiritual world (?)
@AstorAaron AI needs to make a lot more money (Jevon's paradox should be kciking in any moment now) and cure caner (read the recent Moderna and Merck annoucnement) for the public perception to change
One albeit iffy soluition is AI producing more GDP for more UBI
Governor Abbott, phantom gigawatts from data centers are effectively a tax on Texans. We’re already working across ~500,000 acres (incl. TX) to separate speculation from reality. We can help.
@elonmusk@GregAbbott_TX@sama@xai@nvidia
Silicon Valley needs to get out of their hubris that they know better for the rest of the country in terms of narrative creation - they're being beat in middle America and they'll need the rest of the country's land and power to support every new dollar they'll make
All of their communication to thisday has been centered around whatever helps them raise their next round
The bubble of SF is not helping us outside and marketing shops with questionable funding is beating them to the punch and making a generational infrastructure buildout "politically radioactive"
I'm working on building these AI factories across ~500k acres in TX, NM and OK and the political fragility doesn't help in the buildout
They (data centers and AI) haven't gotten there yet - there has to be new scientific breakthroughs and actual noticabeable GDP increases
But if only people knew that a lot of these solutions are just copmute constrained, they would actually just come together to make more and more of these AI factories
That's why I am working on putting up as many data centers across approx ~500k acres of land in TX, NM and OK right now ----- more compute will solve accelerated technological evolution
@tanmays This adds up - in a more digital consumer market, personal touch is going to be such an incredible alpha for Apple it's not even funny
Kind of similar to the principles of the Ritz Carlton as it was coming up
@uncledoomer Slick rebrand but the issue people have is with AI itself - the factory motif works because it can create a sense of hope for large scale employment and "facotry towns" of the past
Same state that has set the most stringent standards for data center installations in their territory
My gripe here is the regulatory hula hoops and political maneuvering pure technology players have to engage in outisde of the standard measures and protections a state should mandate
@Laneless_ Anti-AI misinformation is allowed to fester because it is in counterparty interest to deny America its amazing geographical alpha to support this generational buildout
Dario recently went on a "AI hasn't solved cancer yet" self-realisation loop
I mean, they haven't either, but could this work towards a narrative shift towards some benevolence behind matrix multiplication at scale?
MODERNA, MERCK MRNA CANCER VACCINE SUCCEEDS IN PHASE 3
$MRNA and $MRK say their personalized mRNA cancer vaccine, intismeran, combined with Keytruda slowed melanoma recurrence and spread in a late-stage trial.
The study was stopped at its first interim analysis after positive results, though detailed efficacy data have not yet been released.
If the benefit holds up, this would mark the first randomized Phase 3 validation of a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine and could significantly broaden the use of mRNA technology beyond traditional vaccines.
