ஜப்பானியர்கள் ஏன் இந்தியர்களை தங்கள் வீடுகளுக்கு வழக்கமாக அழைப்பதில்லை..?

ஒரு வருடத்திற்கும் மேலாக ஜப்பானில் வசித்து வந்த ஒரு இந்தியர் விசித்திரமான ஒன்றைக் கவனித்தார்: அவரது ஜப்பானிய நண்பர்கள் கண்ணியமாகவும் உதவிகரமாகவும் இருந்தனர், ஆனால் அவர்களில் யாரும் அவரை தங்கள் வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்ததில்லை, ஒரு கோப்பை தேநீர் கூட குடிக்க வீட்டிற்கு அழைக்கவில்லை.

குழப்பமாகவும் வேதனையுடனும், இறுதியாக ஒரு ஜப்பானிய நண்பரிடம் இது ஏன் என்று கேட்டார். நீண்ட மௌனத்திற்குப் பிறகு, நண்பர் பதிலளித்தார், "எங்களுக்கு இந்திய வரலாறு கற்பிக்கப்படுகிறது... உத்வேகத்திற்காக அல்ல, ஆனால் ஒரு எச்சரிக்கையாக."

இந்தியர் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, "ஒரு எச்சரிக்கையா? இந்திய வரலாறு ஒரு எச்சரிக்கையாக கற்பிக்கப்படுக��றது? தயவுசெய்து ஏன் என்று விளக்குங்கள்" என்று கேட்டார்.

ஜப்பானிய நண்பர், "எத்தனை ��ங்கிலேயர்கள் இந்தியாவை ஆண்டார்கள்?" என்று கேட்டார்.

இந்தியர், "ஒருவேளை... சுமார் 10,000 பேர்?" என்று பதிலளித்தார்.

ஜப்பானியர் தீவிரமாக தலையசைத்து, "அந்த நேரத்தில், 300 மில்லியனுக்கும் அதிகமான இந்தியர்கள் இல்லையா?" என்று கேட்டார்.

"அப்படியானால் உங்கள் மக்கள் மீது யார் அட்டூழியங்களைச் செய்தார்கள்? அவர்களை சவுக்கடி, சித்திரவதை மற்றும் சுட உத்தரவுகளைப் பின்பற்றியது யார்?"

"ஜாலியன் வா���ாபாக்கில் துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு நடத்த ஜெனரல் டயர் உத்தரவிட்டபோது, யார் துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு நடத்தினார்கள்? ஆங்கில வீரர்களா? இல்லை, அது இந்தியர்கள்தான்" என்று அவர் அழுத்தமாகக் கேட்டார்.

"ஜெனரல் டையரை நோக்கி யாரும் துப்பாக்கியை நீட்டவில்லை, ஒரு நபர் கூட இல்லை?" அவர் தொடர்ந்தார், "நீங்கள் பேசும் அடிமைத்தனம் - இது உங்கள் உண்மையான அடிமைத்தனம். உடலின் அல்ல, ஆன்மாவின்."*

இந்தியர் அசையாமல், ��மைதியாக, வெட்கத்துடன் நின்றார்.

ஜப்பானிய நண்பர் தொடர்ந்தார், "மத்திய ஆச���யாவிலிருந்து எத்தனை முகலாயர்கள் வந்தார்கள்? ஒருவேளை சில ஆயிரம் பேர் இருக்கலாம்? ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் உங்களை பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக ஆட்சி செய்தனர்."

"முகலாயர்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணிக்கையின் மூலம் இந்தியாவை ஆளவில்லை; அவர்களுக்கு வணங்கியது, அவர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தது, தங்கள் சொந்தத்தை காட்டிக் கொடுத்தது, முகலாயர்களுக்கு விசுவாசத்தைக் காட்டியது உங்கள் சொந்த மக்களே. உயிர்வாழ்வதற்காகவோ அல���லது வெள்ளி நாணயங்களுக்காகவோ."

"உங்கள் சொந்த மக்களே மதங்களை மாற்றினர். அவர்கள் தங்கள் சகோதரிகளையும், மகள்களையும் முகலாயர்களுக்கு திருமணத்தில் கொடுத்தனர்."

"உங்கள் சொந்த மக்களே உங்கள் ஹீரோக்களை ஆங்கிலேயர்களுக்குக் காட்டிக் கொடுத்தார்கள். சந்திரசேகர் ஆசாத்தை யார் காட்டிக் கொடுத்தார்கள்? ஆல்ஃபிரட் பார்க்கில் அவர் மறைந்திருக்கும் இடம் பற்றி ஆங்கிலேயர்களுக்கு யார் தகவல் க��டுத்தார்கள்?"

"பக்தசிங்கை தேசபக்தர்கள் என்று அழைத்துக் கொண்டவர்களின் (காந்தி-நேரு) அனுமதியின்றி பகத்சிங் எளிதாக தூக்கிலிடப்பட்டார்."

"இந்தியர்களாகிய உங்களுக்கு வெள���நாட்டு எதிரிகள் தேவையில்லை. உங்கள் சொந்த மக்கள் அதிகாரம், பதவி மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட ஆதாயத்திற்காக உங்களைத் தொடர்ந்து காட்டிக் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். அதனால்தான் நாங்கள் இந்தியர்களிடமிருந்து விலகி இருக்கிறோம்."

"ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் ஹாங்காங் மற்றும் சிங்கப்பூருக்கு வந்தபோது, ஒரு உள்ளூர்வாசி கூட அவர்களின் படையில் சேரவில்லை. ஆனால் இந்தியாவில், நீங்கள் எதிரியின் படையில் மட்டும் சேரவில்லை - நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு சேவை செய்தீர்கள். நீங்கள் அவர்களை வணங்கினீர்கள். அவர்களை மகிழ்விக்க உங்கள் சொந்த மக்களைக் கொன்றீர்கள்."

"இன்றும் கூட, நீங்கள் மாறவில்லை. வரலாற்றிலிருந்து நீங்கள் எந்தப் பாடத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. கொஞ்சம் இலவச மின்சாரம், ஒரு பாட்டில் மது அல்லது ஒரு போர்வைக்காக கூட - நீங்கள் உங்கள் வாக்கு, உங்கள் மனசாட்சி மற்றும் உங்கள் குரலை சிந்திக்காமல் விற்கிறீர��கள்."

"நீங்கள் கோஷங்களை உச்சரிக்கிறீர்கள், எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்கிறீர்கள், ஆனால் நாட்டிற்கு உங்கள் தியாகம் தேவைப்படும்போது, நீங்கள் எங்கே இருக்கிறீர்கள்? உங்கள் முதல் விசுவாசம் இன்னும் உங்கள் வீடு, குடும்பம், மனைவி, ��ுழந்தைகள் மற்றும் செல்வத்திற்குத்தான். மீதமுள்ளவை - நாடு மற்றும் மதம் - நரகத்திற்குச் செல்லலாம்."

இதைச் சொல்லிவிட்டு, ஜப்பானியர்கள் வெளியேறினர், அந்த இந்தியர் அங்கேயே தலை குனிந்து, வெட்கத்தில் உறைந்து நின்றார். நாமும் ஒரு இந்தியரே

One of my close friends was admitted in a hospital for a small procedure on his finger (got injured while playing cricket with a leather ball). He was admitted for a night.

His personal insurance is amazing & has Non Consumables cover also. His bill of around ₹40000 was completely paid off by Insurance company (cashless).

During discharge, my friend was asked to pay for Non Consumables ₹3200. He immediately told the hospital that Non Consumables is covered. He showed them the list of items covered under Non Consumables (from the policy).

But friends. Their list had items which were not present in the Insurance Non Consumables List 😀😀😭😭

The hospital asked my friend to pay for the following non-consumables:

Surgeon Gown
Betadine
Drapes
Gloves (this was paid by insurance company since it was part of their list, after we showed them the policy list)
Mops

He ended up paying ₹2800, after deducting Gloves 🔔

Why are Mops even in the list? Isn't basic cleaning something we pay for?

Shouldn't Gown be a part of the procedure? Betadine is used for wound cleaning, it can be put under procedure charges. What are Drapes?

My learning is that hospitals will squeeze us, either way. We need to have an awesome insurance policy. Even though this policy is top notch with amazing cover, hospitals can always have some items which are simply ridiculous in the non-consumables section. A comprehensive cover is key. With non consumables included, he still had to pay ₹2800. Imagine if he didn't have the cover, it would have been far far higher.

In my opinion, Hospitals have become a Pure Business 😀😀😀

I had no intention of shaming any Institution or Profession, but this is simply ridiculous & enlightening.

Justice delayed is Justice denied.

This 89-year-old man (Jageshwar Singh) spent 39 years in jail for a fake ₹100 bribery case. After 39 years, the court finally declared him innocent.

He lost his wife, his children were thrown out of school because he couldn’t pay the fees, and society branded them as bribe-takers. His entire family was broken. What kind of justice is it if it comes after a lifetime of suffering? His family paid the price. I don’t call this justice.

Yesterday I asked our gardener how much he pays for a recharge. He said ₹199/- Airtel pack. I told him that the minimum price will be higher from next month.

He said, A few years ago, with a ₹40-50/- recharge, I could easily manage for months. Why doesn't the government help people like us?

People like him don't use any data but forcefully pay for things they don't use, there are millions of people like him, but who'll listen to them? They are not on social media to raise their voice like the rich and powerful dog lovers.

The kidnappers allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakhs. The Karnataka Govt must take the blame for the stampede today. Someone must be held accountable. It was obvious to everyone there were going to be huge crowds. The Govt could have told RCB that a celebration would be organised on Sunday after making proper arrangements for it. If some of the players couldn't make it on Sunday, so be it. Heart goes out to the victims families. They were just there to greet their heroes. Most of them had their entire lives ahead of them.
