@KarlSettle@SimonCalder Canada was very pleasant in October and significantly cheaper than things were in the USA last year. We too won't be returning to the USA for the foreseeable future.
@valhumphreys51@pauline_a_d@SwailesRuth@BBCr4today There was a screening trial in Nottingham in the 1990s. A friend was in it, had stage 1 cancer detected, though asymptomatic, and the family regretted it as she went straight into aggressive treatment which ruined her quality of life and she still died within a few years.
@valhumphreys51@LittlePersonDoc There certainly used to be lots of good small bistros in Montmartre - and watching the artists in the Place du Tertre is fun. If you need a break from walking, I suggest a boat trip on the Seine. For a weekend I'd stick to the city rather than Versailles.
@TheSnoozeDoctor@RCoANews@valhumphreys51 Very clear - though there's a typo on the loss of consciousness part of rare risks of the spinal document 'How many? Out of every 20,000 people (one thousand people)' - should be 'twenty thousand people'.
@Chonkubine @valhumphreys51 My fear is that, at least in the US, infant mortality will rise as vaccine use becomes later/more limited and then autism rates will fall - and that will be attributed to vaccine/paracetamol use rather than the mortality rate increase.
