@ChrisWebbMP@BeaversLorraine There is no narrowing of definitions though, just a (well overdue) clarification of long standing definitions. Ppl who didn’t understand the law, misrepresented it for many a year and the Supreme Court ruling clarified that they were wrong. Where do women fit in your concerns?
Hi @UberEats this is completely inappropriate to have as a bio! Don’t you have procedures in place to capture this? He may be a harmless lovely guy but it’s a food delivery app not a dating app! It’s at best creepy at worst….

My nephew Imran is missing. Last seen in the Swansea valley area. Please if you recognise him and know where he is or where he might be or if he has been harmed or at risk of being harmed please ring South Wales Police on 999 or 101 . This is really important as he has some health issues.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
I saw this video this morning on my feed and I think it so eloquently explains what Charlie Kirk was put on this earth to do.
“When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence, that is when civil war happens”
Girls: Have one of these in your bag wherever you go. You never know when you'll be struck with period pains etc. Be careful not to get any in your eyes though, it's almost like being pepper sprayed- which you MUSTN'T carry because that's illegal in the UK.
Going to pin this.
Please be aware that X has been/continues to mess with my account.
I know SOME of you can see my posts, but more often than not, I’m told people see nothing from my account.
I’m told a brief reply or an RT to my posts will help, but who knows?
Merci! 🙏
*One month before her 95th birthday, Patricia Routledge wrote something that still gently echoes:*
**“I’ll be turning 95 this coming Monday. In my younger years, I was often filled with worry — worry that I wasn’t quite good enough, that no one would cast me again, that I wouldn’t live up to my mother’s hopes. But these days begin in peace, and end in gratitude.”**
My life didn’t quite take shape until my forties. I had worked steadily — on provincial stages, in radio plays, in West End productions — but I often felt adrift, as though I was searching for a home within myself that I hadn’t quite found.
At 50, I accepted a television role that many would later associate me with — Hyacinth Bucket, of Keeping Up Appearances. I thought it would be a small part in a little series. I never imagined that it would take me into people’s living rooms and hearts around the world. And truthfully, that role taught me to accept my own quirks. It healed something in me.
At 60, I began learning Italian — not for work, but so I could sing opera in its native language. I also learned how to live alone without feeling lonely. I read poetry aloud each evening, not to perfect my diction, but to quiet my soul.
At 70, I returned to the Shakespearean stage — something I once believed I had aged out of. But this time, I had nothing to prove. I stood on those boards with stillness, and audiences felt that. I was no longer performing. I was simply being.
At 80, I took up watercolor painting. I painted flowers from my garden, old hats from my youth, and faces I remembered from the London Underground. Each painting was a quiet memory made visible.
Now, at 95, I write letters by hand. I’m learning to bake rye bread. I still breathe deeply every morning. I still adore laughter — though I no longer try to make anyone laugh. I love the quiet more than ever.
**I’m writing this to tell you something simple:**
**Growing older is not the closing act. It can be the most exquisite chapter — if you let yourself bloom again.**
Let these years ahead be your *treasure years*.
You don’t need to be famous. You don’t need to be flawless.
You only need to show up — fully — for the life that is still yours.
*With love and gentleness,*
— Patricia Routledge
Irish comedy duo cancelled by the woke left. Probably not the comedians best idea or poster but should they be cancelled? #Edinburgh#edinburghfestivalfringe
There's a fine line between sympathy and enabling. If you are traumatised because the snake oil wagon got run out of town, don’t blame the Sheriff; blame the dunks that got you hooked on snake oil.
🚨Enough is enough!🚨
Our School Council is standing up for Fleetwood. The stench is unbearable and the @EnvAgency MUST act now. We teach our children to fight for what’s right - and they’re demanding change. Will you stand with them? #StopTheStink
