Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) antennas allow us to track individual fish movement in the Russian River basin. This coho salmon was released at 4 inches. in Winter 2019, went to the ocean and returned to 3 different streams before spawning as a 23-in. adult in January 2022.

@DaniNyqvist To add to this nonsense, many GRE scores expire after 5 years. So if someone took the GRE 5+ years ago (maybe they have a Master’s and have been in the workforce for a while) the scores are no longer valid and you usually have to retake the test.

I've never seen so many lamprey as yesterday! These are river lamprey the rarest of the three species and one of our rarest freshwater fish. I imagine many rivers would of had this site before so many barriers were erected blocking their migration.
