GUJARATI LANGUAGE STONE INSCRIPTIONS OF YEMEN:
These early 18th-century Gujarati language stone inscriptions of Yemen are important evidence of ages-old maritime trade relations between Gujarat & Yemen.
A 306 years old stone inscription of 1719 is partially legible. It begins with the traditional Gujarati traders' tradition of the title 'Shri Sava'.Names of Ghogha port & its Mughal ruler Mirza Jafar, ship's Hindu crew of Kharva community-Malam Natha, Dhanji, Madhavji are written in it.
It is not certain that this is a tomb epitaph or a memory stone inscription. Gujarat & Arabia had sea trade relations since ancient times. Socotra Island (Yemen) near Aden in the Arabian Sea was known as 'Sukotar Tapu' by Gujarati sailors & navigators in the old times.
2200 years ago, in 200 BC ports of Arabia & Sri Lanka were under the complete control of the Gujarati people. Gujarat's foreign trade is very ancient. The relation of Gujarat & Arabia is more than 3000 years old. There were Arab traders' settlements on the sea coast of Gujarat in ancient times.
Gujarati sailors were excellent navigators like the Portuguese & Spanish. They were very familiar with the Arabian Sea & Indian Ocean in ancient times. They used to sail to Arabia, Africa, Sri Lanka, Java-Sumatra & China.

@IndexofGujarat No. Because we Indian lack basic traffic sense, and patience. Everyone wants to reach everywhere at the earliest and if there is an open space where a vehicle can get it, people will get into those spaces irrespective of its designated use as BRTS only road.

As someone who recently moved to Pune, i hv seen people waiting at red light still keep inching forward slowing blocking the way of vehicles running in green light causing them to slow down and congestion. Why is there no traffic sense and road safety?

@theskindoctor13 The funny part is - no amount of logic helped me understand why would e-verify step not come right after I validated the first time, but couple of same validation form in loop & voila! ITR filed 😂
It’s surprising that we export our IT, yet our govt sites are shitty and broken.

@theskindoctor13 Just for the thrill of it. After multiple logins I was able to file my itr, took two more tries to pay and download challan, then couple of more attempts to validate. But still no acknowledgment & couldn’t e-verify. Then multiple validation attempts helped complete my filing <1>
