@chrisgryff@CaptainTitanic_@_CATNERD2@dpottzzz@USCHoopsdotcom@TomMarsLaw Again, the court did not rule that NCAA rules cannot be enforced. The court doesn’t have that power in this case. The court’s injunction only prohibits the NCAA from preventing Sorsby from participating. That’s the *only* language that exists in the injunction
@MarkLeita@TomMarsLaw —about Sorsby as an individual human being, they would forbid him from playing anyways and still put in all the effort they claim they will be into his recovery. And if TTU fans gave any rats ass about Sorsby, that’s exactly what they’d be hoping happens too.
@MarkLeita@TomMarsLaw —millions of dollars with an expectation for high level performance is a concoction for disaster when it comes to a gambling addict’s recovery. TTU playing him is placing him directly in position for relapse and setting him up for failure. If the school gave any rat’s ass—
@chrisgryff@Repete4VT@TomMarsLaw The injunction ONLY prevents the NCAA from prohibiting Sorsby from participating. If you are deducing that that means TTU can act with impunity as well, that’s your own fault and your own intellectual failure. You’re making things up that aren’t actually in the legal order
@chrisgryff@CaptainTitanic_@_CATNERD2@dpottzzz@USCHoopsdotcom@TomMarsLaw The injunction does not prohibit outside parties from enforcing NCAA standards, there is ZERO language in the injunction covering that. It prevents the NCAA (and ONLY the NCAA) from taking action to prohibit Sorsby from participating.
@kirbyhocutt You cannot, under any circumstances, play him this season. If you wanna support him personally and help enable his recovery, awesome. Do that. But you cannot play him this season
@S829MLY@SkySportsF1 Engine manufacturers have a vested interest in developing hybrid technology for their road cars. That’s the whole reason they’re in F1 in the first place
@NFFCPrestage0@SkySportsF1 Increased fuel flow means teams have to redesign the chassis entirely for a larger fuel tank. A lot of teams were planning to carry over this year’s chassis for next year for financial reasons. You guys seriously need to start thinking seriously about *why* decisions are made
@ChiacchiaSam@AndrewDettmer@AJGullotta@BrettKollmann The judge ruled differently, and that brings into question what is clouding his judgment. He must be scrutinized to the highest degree. Almost nobody outside of TTU circles believes this was the right ruling. It’s a black and white rule that for some reason no longer applies.
@ChiacchiaSam@AndrewDettmer@AJGullotta@BrettKollmann Sure, you wanna argue about if he’s local or not. What does that change about the other part of my response that you blatantly ignored?
Sorsby violated a black and white rule, and the judge decided that the rules don’t apply to Sorsby. You don’t think that’s even a little off?
There really aren’t any rules. You just go to court. If it fails, go to court again until a judge says you’re all set.
Want a 7th year?
Sure
Broke rules?
Ahhhh, it’s fine.
There AREN’T any rules.
@ChiacchiaSam@AndrewDettmer@AJGullotta@BrettKollmann He violated a black and white rule. There’s no room for interpretation with the rule, and tech got a local judge to give him an injunction to play. He should not be playing this year
@C_Rocktails@Arrow1179@FBallAnalysisYT “Can we all chill?” Being in your bio while you have a temper tantrum over a football analyst talking football is hilarious
