@ThembileMa48605@PresidencyZA@CyrilRamaphosa Thats a reporting error not "false reporting". False reporting implies an intention to distort or conceal or fabricate. It's tied to untruthfulness in reporting. No reason to not simply take it that somebody made an innocent mistake and don't know the municipal boundaries

@elonmusk It is time that Americans start prosecuting those who undermine the electoral process by making illegal campaign contributions. Tech bros who knowingly gave money to Epstein aligned candidates...
@realMaalouf As somebody who has worshipped (and I am an Anglican) at Westminster Abbey (when I am in London I endeavor to visit St Paul's and St Peter's), I'd rather those outside the faith be able to see the fruit of the faith. Not sure there is a mosque less than a mile from the Abbey
@realMaalouf They are not inside the sanctuary area of the church.
Westminster Abbey is not "the most sacred site in the Anglican church". It is a significant and unique (it's a royal peculiar) living church within the Anglican Communion. The Abbey is open to secular guests and tourists
@GaytonMcK first time in 41 years there were two South Africans in @wsl CT (surfing) event final (El Salvador). Hope your office sends congratulations on Monday
@KanthanPillay@RomanCabanac Are you seriously asking journalists to suspend their journalistic function in order to be deemed "good people". A good person acts ethically even when hard.
30 years too late on the part of the ANC. That Zuma would bring shame to the organization was known even before the 1994 elections. Time for the organization to clean house.
@Magda_Wierzycka the focus would have to be on "productive" wealth. A careful look at the taxation of trusts rather than personal income tax is what would be needed. Essentially operating a family office and being tax and enjoyment resident in SA ...
@TomEatonSA until the assets of IOL are wrestled out of the hands of the criminal owner the platform will continue to be an embarrassment for the SA media landscape
@IOL the only practicable remedy is to disconnect IOLs infrastructure from its criminal owners and then to undertake media professional lead restructuring and retrenchments of corrupt staff and see what is left.
@mm_mokoena@GaytonMcK its not about a cost to sub-licence - MultiChoice are entitled to get reasonable funds on rights they've paid for. Its about behaving anti-competitively. They want to force the SABC to only carry on DTT and not across carriers.
@labourlewis Any reason you didn't preface that you are acting under protest but in good conscience? The letter points to the successors element as having been defective. I disagree with your stance but kudos for taking it with integrity and dignity.
@GaytonMcK you need to be reading Multichoice the riot act, it needs to be explained to them that if they don't stop anticompetitive behaviour the prospects of any Canal+ deal will be blocked by DTI
@GaytonMcK the next time you are speaking to to SARU you need to give them 24 hours to clean up their act. The president of SARU has admitted to colluding with Multichoice to conduct anticompetive actions and to act in violation of a tribunal order.
