These results increase our understanding of Usher Syndrome pathomechanism and provide a valuable disease model of retinal disease. Follow-up studies will investigate the binding partners of pcdh15 to look for therapeutic targets.
Thrilled to see Usher syndrome raised in parliament! @jomilne10 is doing amazing work in advocating for new research. Proud to see people from NE England making a big impact. #Ushersyndrome@MarkFergusonMP
I look forward to meeting with the Public Health Minister to discuss what can be done to properly support those living with Usher Syndrome and their families...
I am so thrilled to see #UsherSyndrome being discussed in @UKParliament!
Thanks to the hard work of @CUREUsher setting up an All-Party Parliamentary Group #APPG for this #RareDisease that causes deafness from birth & progressive sight loss, learn more 👉🏼 https://t.co/km7ysGf1X4
