I did it!

this is my third payout and first one since taking a wobble last month and re-evaluating how i wanted to trade.

i feel more proud of this payout than both of my others-- even my first!

this one showed me that when you truly back and believe in yourself, you can make it happen.

ill post about my change in strategy at some point but its basically scalping off of key levels like pdh/pdl and pd value areas with a set bracket order.

for now ill just enjoy this moment and feel proud of what ive achieved.

its been a minute but finally got myself back in to a funded 25k at lucid this morning!

after flirting with edgeful and their api i found myself in a bit of an awkward space after losing my 3 fundeds

ive done some soul searching, made some changes and found a way of trading that feels like it suits me better

ill post about it at some point over the weekend and hope to begin posting about my trades again

i will enjoy this long weekend off the charts and look to continue momentum next week ✌️

transparency: i blew this account today 🙃

one trade rule i have is that i dont trade whilst im at work.. but today i broke it

i checked the charts and saw how i could of let my original trade play out and it was looking like it would win

felt a lil tilty and entered some shorts over sized trying to hit IB low and make 50% on the eval

result was i got toasted 🍞

im feeling a bit impatient in eval jail at the minute! i may try and just get one passed before i start posting my trades with this strategy again, we will see.

IB high formed first so targeting IB low

i tried to front run it way earlier than i usually did through back testing and paid the price!

my best trades through back testing came when entering at around the 7:20 candle off of the IB25/75

this is why forward testing is the ultimate litmus test

back testing has a purpose but its void of the emotions and stress of taking a trade in live conditions

on to tomorrow!
