Israel has repeatedly killed Palestinians in Gaza despite the ceasefire, but Netanyahu now says Hamas must disarm first and trust Israel to withdraw from Gaza later. That sounds like a prescription for forever war, which is always Netanyahu's preference. https://t.co/6VhTSLfDG2
Trump interrupts Rubio to explain that the only reason we are attempting to destroy the ICC is to protect Benjamin Netanyahu.
The amount of soft power we expend on Israel is incalculable. We are destroying international institutions and our standing throughout the Western world for decades to come in order to protect octogenarian war criminals, who are guilty of the most heinous acts imaginable.
It’s so unforgivable.
🚨 BREAKING:
The United Nations has officially declared Gaza a genocide zone, noting that Israel is deliberately targeting children and infants.
It took a full three years to reach this conclusion.
Urgent call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel's violence and prevent pogroms by settler militias and the Israeli army across the West Bank.
In recent days, violence by settler militias, enabled and supported by the Israeli army, has escalated across the West Bank, including the torching and destruction of Palestinian property, and the forced expulsion of families and communities. These attacks have been met with silence and inaction from much of the international community, allowing the violence to continue and intensify.
Today's event in the village of Tell (Area B) when a settlers' "tour" in the village ended with the killing of at least 4 Palestinians and 1 settler and several people injured is leading to escalated violence in the area with settlers, ministers, and Knesset members calling for further revenge attacks which already started across the West Bank. Experience shows that these events can escalate quickly into mass pogroms when met with silence.
We call the international community to act now. Immediate pressure must be placed on Israel to stop further attacks, prevent pogroms and further killings, and ensure the protection of Palestinians, in accordance with Israel's obligations under international law.

People often say, why don’t villagers in the West Bank ever hit back when Israeli settlers are brutalizing them or burning their homes? The answer was always obvious, but this is it. Netanyahu will use it as justification to accelerate slaughter and destruction in the West Bank:
BREAKING!
Armed Israelis are escalating DEADLY assaults against defenseless Palestinians in the West Bank!
They have reportedly just shot in cold blood five men in Tal village and Far'ata/Qalqilya.
Their leaders openly talk of #Gazification
THESE CRIMINALS MUST BE STOPPED!
Everyone needs to see this. Hundreds of Israeli settlers are coming down from hilltops and setting entire Palestinian villages on fire. Full on pogroms.
In my article about rape of Palestinians in Israeli prisons, one person who spoke on the record about having been raped was Sami al-Sai, a freelance journalist in the West Bank. He now reports that Israeli authorities recently delivered a warning to him through a relative: Drop media interviews or wind up back in prison. I wish Prime Minister Netanyahu would investigate these sexual assault allegations from the UN, from Israeli and foreign human rights groups, from journalists, rather than just denounce them, and I likewise suggest that if he thinks there's nothing to them he should allow Red Cross visits to imprisoned Palestinians.
I mourn not just that 4,200 Israeli settlers stormed the blessed Mosque of Al-Aqsa today.
I mourn that over 2 billion Muslims just watch it and feel utterly powerless to stop it.
I mourn not only the impunity of one single occupying state, but the incapability and unwillingness of more than fifty Muslim-majority countries to offer anything beyond a single statement of condemnation.
I mourn not only the continued dehumanization of the Palestinians, but the lack of humanity of the world that watches their suffering each day and decides that no human rights or dignity are to be afforded to them.
I mourn not only that our sacred places and people are desecrated, but that we’ve become so used to their desecration.
The Biden administration's failures on Gaza remain an albatross on Biden's record. I thought of Biden as a good man who had worked with me and others to end the Darfur genocide, but he ended up complicit in the slaughter that unfolded in Gaza.
I was there with Rep. Khanna as an expert on settler violence.
Armed settlers were the first to arrive, and then, as has become the norm, Israeli soldiers joined them. Together they detained the delegation for over an hour
The IDF is lying and not for the first time.
Thank you to all those who reached out asking about my safety. I am home. But I cannot get the stories of the indignities Palestinian face out or my head. I am still processing it and wanted to share some of what I saw.
Stunning account of how armed Israeli settlers harassed and effectively held US Congressman @RoKhanna for 90 min. When Israeli soldiers showed up, Khanna thought they would help release him. Instead, they helped the settlers.
This is what Israel does to the country that arms and finances it.
What he saw in Israel and Palestine only further convinced him to speak out.
“I’m going to go to every corner of America, regardless of whether I run or not, and tell their stories and tell the story of what is happening in the West Bank.”

MUST READ!
Congressman @RoKhanna after visiting Israel and Palestine:
“In Palestine, I felt first as someone who was brown,” he said. “We really saw the apartheidlike conditions, the inequality.”
He added: “No American would support this if they knew the details of what was going on here.”

If a U.S. Congressman can be forcibly detained by Israeli settlers in the West Bank, what do you think is happening to the Palestinians who live there?
Sadly, we know the answer.
Despite massive campaign spending by AIPAC, members of Congress must be very clear. NO MORE U.S. MILITARY AID TO THE EXTREMIST NETANYAHU GOVERNMENT.
