HIGH COURT INTERVENTION NEEDED
We've been forced to take drastic action to stop the University of Zimbabwe from conferring fraudulent degrees. Our High Court application seeks to interdict the Chancellor from proceeding with the graduation ceremony.
UZ ADMINISTRATION CAUGHT RED-HANDED
Our investigation has uncovered shocking evidence of academic fraud and corruption at the highest levels. The University of Zimbabwe has become a degree mill, churning out fake qualifications like a factory.
STUDENTS CHEATED, FUTURE JEOPARDIZED
The consequences of this fraud are dire. Thousands of students have been cheated of a quality education, and their future prospects are now in jeopardy.
WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN
We will not allow the UZ administration to get away with this academic fraud. We will fight to restore the integrity of our education system and ensure that students receive the quality education they deserve.
SOLIDARITY FOREVER!

AUT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Comrades, TODAY 09 AUGUST 2025, we have made an urgent High Court application to INTERDICT the Chancellor of the University of Zimbabwe from conferring Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates of the 44th Graduation of the University of Zimbabwe.
You are all aware of the reasons and basis for the INTERDICT. We have cited numerous gross violations of academic regulations by the University of Zimbabwe administration that rendered the product defective.
Because of the indefinite AUT led lawful and constitutional strike that started on the 16th of April 2025, students have not had consistent and meaningful learning for Block 3 and Block 4.
Comrades, your commitment to the dignity of our profession and refusal to intimidation that came in many ways is amazing. It is your resilience that has brought us this far.
As your executive, we can only say THANK YOU!
Some of you had to take risky and audacious missions to establish the extent of the rot that characterizes the teaching and learning, examination and processing of examinations at the University of Zimbabwe administration led by the arrogant Prof Paul Mapfumo.
Your efforts are yet to be fully acknowledged and appreciated.
History has recorded you as Heroes and Heroines of our University and academia at large.
You were humiliated; brought before kangaroo courts, made to write useless reports and invited to swear against the AUT. You endured all this for the profession.
Indeed you harvested, we sifted and winnowed; and produced a 45 pages document that detail the most grave of academic fraud ever to exist in our nation.
The University of Zimbabwe has become a Degree Printing Machine! Like Pizza, one can now order a Degree!
We salute the brave comrades who participated in the strike from the 16th of April to date!
We salute those who attended every picket!
We salute those who attended every meeting!
We salute those who committed their resources to oil the struggle!
We salute those who refused to cover up the mess that was cooked by the UZ administration!
We salute Chairpersons and Deans who provided raw data exposing the rot!
We are our own liberators!
ALUTA CONTINUA!!

The Administration's Desperate Attempt to Intimidate
The news that our 4 AUTUZ executives have received a dismissal punishment is a clear indication of the administration's desperation to intimidate and suppress our movement. But we will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we will not be defeated.
This decision is a blatant violation of our rights, a clear abuse of power, and a desperate attempt to break our spirits. But we will not be broken, we will not be deterred, and we will not be defeated.
We know that this decision is not about justice, it's not about fairness, and it's not about the welfare of our students. It's about the administration's attempt to maintain their grip on power, to suppress our movement, and to undermine our demands for academic excellence, fairness, and justice.
But we will not be fooled, we will not be deceived, and we will not be deterred. We will continue to stand strong, we will continue to stand together, and we will continue to fight for our rights.
We will appeal this decision, we will challenge this injustice, and we will emerge victorious. We will not let the administration's desperate attempts to intimidate us silence our voices, suppress our movement, or undermine our demands.
So let us rise up, let us stand strong, and let us continue to fight for our rights. Let us show the administration that we will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we will not be defeated. We will emerge victorious, and we will achieve our goals.
Let's come out in our numbers on Monday for the picketing, and let's show the administration that we will not be deterred. We will stand strong, we will stand together, and we will emerge victorious. #AUTUZisonStrike @zimlive@ZimEye@thestandardzim@ARTUZ_teachers@mhtestd@Mavhure@gift_mugano@advocatemahere@MakomboreroH@Hon_Kasukuwere@NewZimbabweCom@ProfJNMoyo@LynneStactia@LanceGuma@LarryMadowo@BitiTendai@MutasaPeter@ibbosnr@bbmhlanga@TrevorNcube@edmnangagwa@ali_naka@BBCAfrica@peterndoro@paulmuchemwa2@crimewatchzw@WeArePindula@adv_fulcrum@MmusiMaimane@hwendec@AdvDali_Mpofu@Julius_S_Malema@Pachisolife@UKinZimbabwe@USEmbZim@NehandaRadio@eNCA@CNNAfrica
The University of Zimbabwe: A Potential Factory of Fake Degrees
The University of Zimbabwe, under the leadership of VC Paul Mapfumo, has become a factory of fake degrees. The institution has lost its integrity, its credibility, and its reputation.
The one-day learning and exam farce is just a small part of a larger scheme to churn out students who are not educated, but merely certified. The chairpersons and deans, instead of upholding the highest standards of education, have become complicit in this scheme, this charade, this travesty.
The students are being sold fake degrees, degrees that are not worth the paper they are printed on. They are being robbed of their right to a quality education, their right to a bright future, and their right to a decent life.
The VC, Paul Mapfumo, has become a master of deception, a virtuoso of fake degrees. He has created a system where students are forced to buy their degrees, where students are forced to pay for grades, and where students are forced to pay for their certification.
We must stand up against this factory of fake degrees. We must demand a quality education, we must demand a bright future, and we must demand a decent life. The students, the lecturers, and the nation deserve better. #AUTisonStrike @NewsHawksLive@WeArePindula@gift_mugano@ProfJNMoyo@daddyhope@ARTUZ_teachers@BarackObama@mhtestd@ZANUPF_Official@SABCNews@zimlive@ZimEye@Gambakwe@MutasaPeter@gama_stanley@amutambara@BBCAfrica@LynneStactia@VP46Archive@ali_naka@advocatemahere@hwendec@MmusiMaimane@adv_fulcrum@bbmhlanga@cozwva@cdemlambo@chidakwa1@crimewatchzw@ZACConline
The University of Zimbabwe: A Culture of Entitlement and Impunity
The University of Zimbabwe, under his leadership, has become a bastion of entitlement and impunity. The VC, Paul Mapfumo, and his cohorts have created a culture where they are above the law, above accountability, and above reproach.
The students, the lecturers, and the institution itself are mere pawns in their game of power and privilege. They have created a system where they can do as they please, without fear of consequence, without fear of accountability, and without fear of reprisal.
The one-day learning and exam farce is just a symptom of a deeper rot, a deeper decay of values, and a deeper erosion of accountability. The chairpersons and deans, instead of upholding the highest standards of education, have become complicit in this charade, this farce, this travesty.
The VC, Paul Mapfumo, has become a symbol of entitlement, a symbol of impunity, and a symbol of arrogance. He has created a system where he is the law, where he is the only one who matters, and where everyone else is just a mere pawn.
We must stand up against this culture of entitlement and impunity. We must demand accountability, we must demand transparency, and we must demand a leadership that is accountable to the people. The students, the lecturers, and the nation deserve better. #AUTisonStrike @NewsHawksLive@NewZimbabweCom@ZTNPrime@nickmangwana@peterndoro@NehandaRadio@NDWGYouthWing@BBCAfrica@TrevorNcube@Hon_Kasukuwere@USEmbZim@ARTUZ_teachers@edmnangagwa@Jamwanda2@mawarirej@JamesonTimba@ZANUPF_Official@SADC_News@ZimcheOfficial@daddyhope@LynneStactia@LarryMadowo@LanceGuma@advocatemahere@MakomboreroH@ibbosnr@gift_mugano@ProfJNMoyo
A Reflection of Hypocrisy: UZ Admin's Double Standards
As you sit in your comfortable offices, surrounded by the trappings of power, you seem to have forgotten the very principles of fairness and justice. You have convinced yourselves that it's acceptable to earn less than $230 per month, while you yourselves enjoy hefty allowances, holiday allowances, expensive vehicles, and groceries galore.
The hypocrisy is staggering. You lecture professors on the importance of sacrifice, on the need to tighten their belts, while you yourselves gorge on the fat of the land. You have lost all sense of empathy, all sense of compassion, all sense of justice.
You have created a system where professors are forced to survive on peanuts, while you feast on the riches of the university's coffers. You have turned a blind eye to the struggles of those who are the backbone of the institution, while you yourselves reap the benefits of their toil.
You have forgotten that professors are not just employees, but also human beings with families to feed, with hopes and dreams to fulfill. You have forgotten that they too have bills to pay, children to educate, and futures to secure.
Your double standards are a slap in the face, a betrayal of the trust placed in you as leaders. You have lost all moral authority to lead, to guide, to inspire. You have become nothing more than self-serving bureaucrats, more interested in lining your pockets than in serving the greater good.
It's time to reflect on your actions, to acknowledge the harm you have caused, and to make amends. It's time to treat professors with the dignity and respect they have earned. It's time to lead by example, to show that you too are willing to make sacrifices for the greater good.
Until then, your words will remain hollow, your actions will remain unjust, and your leadership will remain illegitimate. #AUTUZisonStrike @zimlive@ZimEye@NewZimbabweCom@NewsHawksLive@ZTNPrime@daddyhope@Newzroom405@WeArePindula@crimewatchzw@mhtestd@Zinasuzim@ZimStudentUnion@ZINASU_UZ@LynneStactia@KarenyiKore@ARTUZ_teachers@advocatemahere@MakomboreroH@HStvNews@Pachisolife@MakomboreroH@adv_fulcrum@ChangeRadioZW@nelsonchamisa@Shadaya_Knight@MamoyoT@SADC_News@peterndoro@Sophie_Mokoena@BlessedGeza@BabaHarare1@winkydonline@freemanchari@_AfricanUnion@CyrilRamaphosa@MmusiMaimane@Julius_S_Malema@Alonmusk301
University of Zimbabwe: A Mind-Boggling Abyss
We've hit rock bottom at UZ, where the administration of VC Paul Mapfumo has concocted a timetable for students who:
1) Never had lectures
2) Received no module outlines
3) Have no coursework for blocks 3 and 4
4) Lack lecturers for their modules
5) Are still waiting for block 2 results
6) Are unclear about the exam format
7) Are unaware if the exam was even set
8) Have no supervised or verified projects and dissertations
9) Have experienced no learning
10) Are victims of fraudulent use of striking lecturers' names on the timetable without their consent or payment
Students, don't be deceived! You can't write an exam you were never prepared for. Refuse to be part of this charade, and stand together against this sham education system. #AUTUZisonStrike @NewsDayZimbabwe@zimlive@crimewatchzw@advocatemahere@JobSikhala1@edmnangagwa@mhtestd@ZimEye@ZimcheOfficial@ZimStudentUnion@ProfJNMoyo@amutambara@BBCAfrica@UKinZimbabwe@USEmbZim@ibbosnr@MamoyoT@LynneStactia@MakomboreroH@nickmangwana@adv_fulcrum@MutasaPeter@gift_mugano
To add insult to injury, UZ admin is fraudulently using names of striking lecturers on the timetable without their consent or payment. Students, don't be deceived - you can't write an exam you were never prepared for. Don't be coerced into writing an exam that lacks credibility.
