@tartancrane@SpringbokRWC@Springboks@MilesHarrisonTV It can’t be legal. If it is legal it needs to change. I’m no expert but how do the opposition tackle him, without endangering the man in the air. Bizarre. Brilliant test match though. Scotland were brilliant and yet SA just kept finding a way (defensively and offensively)
@Zilch0284 As good a selection as I’ve seen. Not sure about 3 and 6. But the bench recognises this. Not sure about white on bench either. Earls and Mitchell put their hand up today. Anyway a decent effort from what we’ve seen.
@richardajkeys Champions League should be for Champions (1st place only). Once you deviate from that concept, your argument becomes irrelevant. At least winning the Europa means there’s ‘champions’ playing in it (better than 5th place in league qualifying)
@jaredwright17 Superb skill but my opinion is that rule needs to change. Players should need to jump from in play and land in play. Bias to the kickers accuracy rather than FB athleticism.
@FrontRowRugbyXV Surprised there was no review. Presumably because he landed ok. But, when a player jumps just as you’re about to tackle him/her, it brings a huge risk. The jumper knows the risk. It’s part of the game. The tackler does too but how to cope with last minute elevation is 🤯
@T2Rugby Interesting comments here. As a neutral I thought he was still bound. In which case the maul has gone to ground and he can’t just get up and play on. Presumably having to place it and then pick up and go again? At which point there is then obstruction. Not sure.
@UghEffortOfThis It’s a battlefield of biased opinions. Reality is that credit should be given to the Refs. They get it right a lot more often than all the keyboard warriors. I have my own opinions but we could literally dissect every play. Refs are the pros.
@SuperRugby I’m struggling with this one and watched it a few times. It’s a hard collision. Is it bordering legal/illegal. I think it’s the no genuine attempt to wrap that can be criticised.
@RugbyCollective Except once someone is involved in a ruck it’s within the laws to keep them there? Not sure the retaliation act is within the laws! It was minimal though. Probably happens continuously through an 80 minute match so bit of a non event IMO
