We're absolutely horrified that at least 50 children have reportedly been killed in an Israeli attack on homes in northern Gaza over the weekend.

At least 14,100 children have been killed in Gaza so far. How many children killed is too many before our leaders say 'enough is enough'?

The UK government remains complicit, refusing to suspend all arms sales - despite the clear risk of violations of International humanitarian law.

"If the international community does not intervene soon, an entire generation of children in Gaza will be erased, along with their futures. All states have a legal obligation to prevent the crime of genocide" - Jeremy Stoner, Middle East Regional Director for Save the Children.

We are continuing to urge the UK government to use its power and influence to secure an immediate, definitive ceasefire, and suspend all arms sales to the Government of Israel.

The situation in northern #Gaza is catastrophic. Intensive military operations unfolding around and within healthcare facilities and a critical shortage of medical supplies, compounded by severely limited access, are depriving people of life saving care.

The Health Ministry in Gaza informed us that the siege at Kamal Adwan Hospital has ended, but it came at a heavy cost. Following the detention of 44 male staff members, only female staff, the hospital director, and one male doctor are left to care for nearly 200 patients in desperate need of medical attention. Reports of the hospital facilities and medical supplies being damaged or destroyed during the siege are deplorable.

The whole health system in Gaza has been under attack for over a year. @WHO cannot stress loudly enough that hospitals must be shielded from conflict at all times. Any attack of healthcare facilities is a violation of international humanitarian law.

The only path to safeguarding what remains of Gaza's collapsing health care system is an immediate and unconditional ceasefire. Lives depend on it!

More than 14,100 of Gaza's children have been killed by Israeli forces, but the actual number is undoubtedly even higher.

More than 20,000 children are estimated to be missing – trapped under rubble, buried in unmarked graves, detained, or separated from their families in the chaos of the war.

Nearly all 1.1 million children in Gaza are facing critical food insecurity.

37 Israeli children were killed during the 7 October attacks by Palestinian armed groups, and 36 Israeli children were taken hostage.

What will it take for our leaders to take decisive action?

We're continuing to urgently call for an immediate, definitive ceasefire to prevent further suffering, ensure safe humanitarian access, and the release of all hostages.
