"...would like to stay in the local area that has become home, but with rents having risen dramatically, there is nothing they can afford. However, to compound Grim's financial difficulties, there is now the social, emotional and psychological jeopardy of the 'No Pet' clause."
@coeurvids Yes it's a sad reality that has a rather simple solution. Instead our housing policy caters to landlords' irrational fears and their insistence on controlling tenants' lives. Meanwhile people & animals go homeless, or forcibly separated from their loved ones. @selinarobinson 🙉
@PetsOkBC I live in a pet-friendly apartment building in Victoria and have room for a senior female with a cat or dog effective November 10 in James Bay area.
@JaneSeyd@BowinnMa I have to say @BowinnMa has done more as an MLA than anyone since I moved to BC. I am not a big fan of supporting a party blindly but the @bcndp have lived up to their promises in an unheard of fashion.
Please focus on pets in rentals next @PetsOkBC is leading on this issue!

@yvr000 @leanne_mclaren @CityofVancouver GTFO with this nonsense. Oh allergies, never heard that excuse before. You know what species has the worst carbon footprint on Earth? Humans. It's not even close. Meanwhile animals suffer, children grow up without empathy and seniors die lonely. You happy?
@katrinamay_@CityofVancouver Condos? Rentals? Affordable? Pet and family friendly? How many 1BR? 40% of Vancouver households are single-person. This is by design. 1BR are the most profitable. Also contributes to loneliness in our city.
