Appeal to scholarship recipients

It has come to my notice that some of our students on paid scholarship to do diploma programs at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) Lapai study center in Kontagora have not been attending classes.

One of the major reasons undergrads drop out of tertiary institutions is tuition. Having taken care of this with the scholarship, it is expected that our scholars reciprocate the gesture with their commitment to learning.

Nigerian Airforce in a new development has incinerated over 100 bandit-terrorists in Niger State.The terrorists who attack remote communities in a large convoy of motorcycles,also lost their bikes and weapons in the air raid. It would serve as deterrence to other banditry group.

On Thursday 19th January, 2022; admission letters were handed out to 60(sixty) applicants who scaled through the screening for the scholarship program I initiated in my constituency.The scholarship is for them to Study at the IBB University study center in Kontagora, Niger state.

The beneficiary candidates will commence a 2 years diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Science laboratory technology (with options in Medical Laboratory Sciences and Industrial Laboratory Sciences).
