Lots of hype and lots of opportunity for Amazon to lower drug costs, but as is typical, little discussion about the quality of the service to the patient and the positioning of pharmacists to improve outcomes. People forget that pharmacy is meant to drive care, not just pills.

Community screening is a must, but unfortunately we are far from it. Some testing sites in the US still turn away the symptomatic young. Only high risk and wealthy individuals seem to be getting tested. COVID-19 is severely underreported in the US.

Filled RX 1/28/20 for 30 d/s. Pt came in to get it refilled today. “Refill too soon” In hum an a* mail order filled a 90 d/s on 1/29/20. 1 day AFTER i filled a 30 d/s!!! Pt is 86 yo...doesnt do mail order? They can fill early, we can’t! LEVEL PLAYING FIELD, that’s all i ask for

What Cigna is being sued for here on the medical billing side is exactly what all PBM’s do as common practice. Over billing patients, employees, state and federal governments and pocketing they difference!! Time to take these thief’s down!!

PBMs make more on insulin than the drug companies. The drug company is extorted to give higher rebates or not be on the formulary!
