Samsung has yield problems and lacks volume. Elon wants to build a fab. Probably a good fit for both.

@tadrossron @lithos_graphein Even if you get your fab running, you need to recoup the $30B+ before you build or upgrade the fab for a new process node. This is the biggest issue. ROI/cost per wafer

Not to mention assembly.
