@Patriotmom717 These parents are young and aren't seeing the bigger picture if the shoe was on the other foot and they were elderly. Margaret did NOT make it to 81 bullying others and more than likely feels bad about how everything played out. My respect for elders wasn't high as a kid.

@Patriotmom717 Parents that are young need to talk with their children. AND MUCH MORE THAN USUAL TALK. "Tweenagers need to understand that just because a person is elderly that "DOES NOT MAKE THEM WEAK"

@Patriotmom717 A lion and a handgun are a lot alike but guns are less maintainence and lions might be asleep when you need their assistance dealing with threats. Pack of dogs is high maintenance too. Margaret chose low maintenance/high efficiency to dealing with life threatening issues.

@Patriotmom717 I suppose the parents wouldnt ve been angry if Margaret had a lion roaming around like Betty White use too. The lion was not stupid at all and would recognize we've got visitors because the door bell rang. But someone was kicking the door? That cat would've killed.

@Patriotmom717 That woman was justified to defend helself. If these kids had gotten inside they more than likely would've hurt her severely or killed her for being able to recognize them in any possible way.

@Patriotmom717 They (the relatives) shouldn't be compensated. These kids weren't salesmen trying to offer a current product from some company they work for or to help her out with lawn maintenance or house cleaning. These ?kids didnt show up with a bucket and towels with car soap.1M for what?
