It was part of a wider Sinn Fein campaign at the time where they ran a number of candidates e.g. Philip Clarke who won the Fermanagh South Tyrone seat

@puppetshow23 @jadler1969 I’m based in Ireland. So my view of how legislation should be applied may not apply in the USA.

However I’ll say one thing if I may. Without guidance, it makes the decision to allow your kids to be unsupervised, very open to interpretation and arbitrary decisions.

@puppetshow23 @jadler1969 I mean that’s true. But if there’s going to be convictions for your child being unsupervised, so legislative or other guidance of what age is acceptable to let them be alone would help.

@PjSlim_ @MaseDenver I think there is a trust issue in football. We want to see the call with our eyes, or a real camera and we doubt the accuracy and fairness of the tech.

@Ringo3911 @MaseDenver I’m concerned about the accuracy of the model (and indeed of modern cameras etc) for such marginal calls, and thing building in a variance of x would help. What that variance is is another question 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Ringo3911 @MaseDenver Let the onfield decision stand then. A referee will often not have a clear unobstructed view. It’s better to be honest and say that, that try and create a view which may not be accurate.
