Drivers jumping red lights in London is so common I usually don’t bother, but this was blatant & nearly took out the woman crossing the road (who sensibly waited.)
This driver accepted 3 points on his licence & got a £100 fine.

@AntonioJASmith@but_cyclists@Se_Railway Hi Antonio, since it’s just a bicycle and it’s not committing any crimes I suggest you relax and continue with your day. You could even keep an eye on the bike on behalf of your fellow passenger and make sure no one steals it when they are not looking. X
@2wheelsgoodBrum In the UK drivers get their opinions from the Daily (hate) Mail and The S*n. They would rather kill someone thsn follow the rules, which are woke.
@cra46159 You chose to get a big car. We’re not going soend millions revamping streets and car parks just to accommodate your selfish choices. Deal with it.
“Crying little babies”: Windsor drivers have meltdown over cafe offering 10% cyclist discount
Locals said the discount caused havoc. Two locals aged 84 & 79 said “You can’t get past in a car” & “Why have they got 10% off just because they are cyclists?”

Postponing the 5p fuel rise will cost the public purse £2.2 billion.
For around £3 billion you could make every bus journey in the country free, for everyone, for a whole year.
This would be far better for the economy and for people on low incomes.

I've completed the London 100 Mile Walking Challenge for #LondonWalkingFestival!!
One of the things I've learned is how walking is the best way to discover the remnants of the capital's amazing past which are still scattered around our streets & neighbourhoods.
@RicHolden It’s time motorists pay up for the significant harm they wreak on the country: death, injury, pollution, damage to infrastructure. Drivers are subsidised by the non-driving public and the failure to raise fuel duty has cost the country over £100 billion
