@AllKindsWeather@FLPolEnjoyer@RiedellAndrew They’re going to get both games in with little issue. Maybe a slight delay in the first game that leads to the second game starting a little late. If we went off the forecast for Friday 24 hours prior, we wouldn’t have played at all. This is expected.
@Jason_Gray@AllKindsWeather The post is incorrect in multiple aspects. First, the tournament manual says the 12-hour rest rule is in place when a game finishes after 1:00 am local time. Second, Sully’s objection was about the start of the Florida–ECU game starting an hour later.
@AllKindsWeather This is not targeting. He’s a runner, so 9-1-4 is out. The defender does not use the crown of the helmet, so 9-1-3 is out. The ruling on the field is upheld.
@ryanjstolz@GrahamHall Taking my fan hat off and putting my unbiased ref hat on, I too have a hard time getting to an ejection. When I saw it live from my seat I was certain of an ejection. Once I finally saw a replay, I had reasonable doubt as far as F2 was concerned.
But, Condon's tech made no sense.
@IsaacEdelman They decided to miss like roughly half of the layups, if not more.
Make easy shots
Play defense
Stop fouling
Stop committing turnovers
As in the Vanderbilt game, Florida decided to do none of these, and deservedly lost.
@ryanjstolz@GrahamHall Condon decided to miss 2 free throws in the first half. Or you can point at any of the other hundred things Florida decided to do poorly tonight. Florida lost the game by losing.
