Incredibly emotional watching this because Iโm painfully aware that โthe good old daysโ are right now.
At 42 I have a perfectly imperfect life with a wonderful wife and two great kids. I donโt long for my younger years. I want to freeze time right now.
Why only $750k?
(They say that's what Zillow says it's worth)
Zillow says it's worth $750k?
(Yes & shows you the screenshot)
Is Zillow ever wrong? I mean what if you could get more?
(Well, we wouldn't mind getting more.)
Tell you what. Why don't we do this, and I don't mind at all, why don't we take a deep look at what homes similar to yours have sold for in the neighborhood recently, compare their features and condition to yours, and make sure you have the absolute best, most realistic and confident understanding of the home's value so that when you take it to market, you can be certain that you're going in with the price that gives you the highest possible chance to get the biggest pile of cash. I mean, it wouldn't be a problem if you got the biggest pile of cash would it?
(They agree)
Cool, I'll do all the heavy lifting to get the info together & make it super easy for us to look at. And hey you've heard that story about the Zillow CEO haven't you?
(They say they haven't)
Oh yeah, a while back the CEO's own house sold for 40% LESS than what Zillow thought it was worth. So doing this will definitely protect you there also, just in case they're way off the mark on that side too. You want to get together tomorrow at 2p or does 6p work better for you?
You're supposed to live in a house with a lawn and fill it full of people, or pets, collect fun things, make it very comfortable to live in. Then you venture out to collect more things and bring back to your house. Like a video game. Which these strip malls are perfect for.
It's an inside life. It's not New York City.
But billions of people around the world would love a chance to live this lifestyle
Suddenly youโre 28.
You drink coffee to survive, not to enjoy it.
Your routine is autopilot.
Work drains you, the gym is your escape, cleaning feels like a reset button.
You come home with zero energy left for anything except doomscrolling until you knock out.
Then itโs morning again.
Your 20s vanished while you were โbusy.โ
Teen years feel like fiction.
30 is loading.
The last 10 years disappeared and you barely lived any of it.
And the irony?
Youโll miss this someday.
So wake up.
Stop wasting your own life.
Take the risk.
One of my favorite lessons Iโve learnt from working with smart people:
Action produces information. If youโre unsure of what to do, just do anything, even if itโs the wrong thing. This will give you information about what you should actually be doing.
Sounds simple on the surface - the hard part is making it part of your every day working process.
Buenas noches, @BancoPopular.
Me dirijo a ustedes por esta vรญa porque ya he agotado todos los medios posibles sin recibir respuesta. He llamado, enviado mรกs de 15 correos, hecho reclamaciones y visitado 2 sucursales. Nadie me ha podido ayudar.
U have to pick a few vices and hope they donโt kill u before u make something out of urself.
Because if u try and go for zero vices ur whole lifeโs purpose will be just maintaining that.
dodging adventure, women, wine, curiosity, laughter, conflict, abundance etc. under the guise of โdisciplineโor optimization is only for the diseased
dying inside
donโt belong at the table with the living
