TomoTwin 0.7 is out and ready to use for #TeamTomo :-) This release adds new tools for advanced strategies that describe how to speed up the calculation of embeddings, potentially improve their umaps, and how to refine references/targets! 🧵

The second strategy creates masks using an estimate of the average background embedding. It can exclude large portions of irrelevant regions, dramatically speeding up the embedding step and allowing the umap to focus on relevant embeddings.
