@viprabuddhi Thanks @viprabuddhi
And thanks to @rajeevdeshpande too to pointing at this after our conversation on 15 Aug 🙏🏼
A long endured ache is resolved for me...
Great to see we are catching up with China... mostly on our own and with reasonable/ feasible investments.
Not sure how much of the equipment is procured from China though. That's the next frontier to open!
India just crossed a historic line.
For the first time, clean electricity capacity (338.74 GW) has surpassed fossil fuel capacity (301.95 GW).
That's 12x growth in 25 years
A major shift in India’s power landscape, driven by the rapid expansion of clean energy in recent years.
An eye opener for all who are designing for customer requirement vs customer experience.
Must add one more critical gate / decision cycle for the design team to build, while setting up the specs for procurement and manufacturing teams.
Thanks @sachindn
Are we becoming a dumping ground for cheap electronics?
Something we learnt the hard way these past few months.
Customers started returning our UPS units, saying backup wasn't enough. We pulled every returned unit, charged it, loaded it up, and ran it down. Full backup, every single time. On our bench, nothing was wrong.
This went on for almost 3 months. Honestly, a wild goose chase. We suspected our design, our battery batches, everything except the actual problem.
The actual problem: The humble 12V 2A adapter powering the router. After about a year of use, even at a small 1A load, these adapters don't give 12V anymore. We measured 10.4V on some.
Our UPS sees 10.4V and thinks the power has gone. And switches to battery. Sits on battery the whole day while mains is perfectly fine. So when a real power cut comes, there's nothing left. Customer is right no backup. But the UPS was never the problem.
We thought fine, let's just source good adapters for our customers. Turns out most "Made in India" adapters are SKD kits — the cheapest possible design imported from China, assembled here. Nobody checks whether it still holds voltage after a year, because nobody's testing it after the return window closes.
So here we are, building our own 12V 2A adapter now. Yes, with Chinese components; that's just the reality of electronics today. But the design is ours. Stable voltage for years, low ripple, proper protections. Boring stuff nobody prints on the box.
A 200 rupee part quietly killing the devices around it, and the device maker takes the blame. And this isn't just our story; it's happening across categories.
We badly need stricter standards on what gets imported and assembled here. Otherwise we're just the last stop for the world's worst designs.
If you build hardware in India, I am sure most of you would have faced this too.

आपण म्हणतो - “Virat Kohli is riding on a wave of popularity.” किंवा “I was surfing channels on my TV.” त्यामुळे औरंगाबादला राहणारी मुलगी जेव्हा riding on a wave म्हणते तेव्हा ती second hand अनुभवातून बोलत असते.

This AI system researches prospects like a psychopath and writes to them like a best friend.
This combo is absolutely insane for outreach that actually books calls.
No SDRs. No manual research. No sales reps spending 3 hours per prospect.
Just AI tools working together like a professional sales team.
Here's how it works:
→ AI scrapes LinkedIn profiles + recent posts automatically
→ Perplexity researches their company across the entire internet
→ Claude analyzes pain points and writes hyper-personalized 3-email sequences
→ System references specific achievements like you personally studied them
→ Emails send in proper time zones with perfect deliverability rotation
→ Sequences stop automatically when prospects reply
Perfect for anyone tired of 2% reply rates and "hope this finds you well" templates.
The power is in the combo:
LinkedIn scraping = behavioral data most sales reps ignore
Perplexity = company intelligence that makes prospects think you know them
Claude = emails that feel like a best friend wrote them, not a robot
While others are manually researching 10 prospects per day, you're personalizing 100 per hour.
Test different angles.
Book more calls.
Scale immediately.
Like, RT + reply with "SYSTEM" and I'll DM the complete workflow
