@OLamarre@Nord_Space@astrorahul_ Hey Olivier, this is exciting news. I missed your session yesterday but did hear @astrorahul_ introduce Terry. Do you have a science team for surface ops?
The secret is out! At @Nord_Space, we're building a lunar rover named TERRY, honoring Terry Fox's legacy. Flying to the Moon in 2027 🇨🇦🤖
Canada belongs in space, and on the Moon.
Start your week with some new photos from Artemis II!
Though our journey around the Moon has ended, we're still retrieving plenty of new images. Keep an eye on our Artemis II multimedia gallery for image highlights from the mission: https://t.co/XInWMJwMYY
Great start to the Canadian #SpaceLaunch2026 event @avspacemuseum today.
The first words of welcome by Rahul included a shout out to all the Sith lords in the room the day after May the 4th; and then Brig. General Horner talked about “Space-enabled French fries from PEI”.
Canada is heading back to the @Space_Station! 🚀
CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk is assigned to NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13. Launching no earlier than September 2026, he’ll be the first Canadian to fly under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

Observing the Moon ✅ Now it’s your turn.
We’re inviting skilled observers to monitor the Moon’s surface for meteoroid‑impact flashes using a telescope with video capability. Your recordings will help quantify impact rates and refine models of crater formation and lunar interior response.

Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
Artemis astronauts, here’s your Moon-observing assignment 👀
This custom science plan is fine-tuned for the exact lighting conditions on the Moon’s surface when the Artemis II crew flies by, and for their viewing angle as they’re hurtling through space. ️⬇ (1/5)

After investigating how the @NASA_Orion spacecraft’s heat shield fared during the Artemis I mission to the Moon, we are confidently preparing for Artemis II with the heat shield already attached to the capsule.
#Artemis II is now targeted for April 2026. https://t.co/o1i0nxU9VQ
We need your help to name the first Canadian rover to explore the Moon. It will test key technologies and help in the international search for water ice.
