@BraveNewClimate @allTheYud When I was ~25% body fat, it was easy to lose fat. Now at ~10% it's become much harder and there is a night-and-day difference in how my body is resisting. It's not that difficult for me to imagine that some bodies resist the same way, or worse, even though they're not lean.

@BraveNewClimate @allTheYud My 75 kg body weight is currently stable at 2800 kcal/day (I lift weights). At the start of my last deficit, I went two weeks on 1900 kcal/day without losing a gram. Plenty of fatigue and brain fog though. TDEE can be incredibly flexible on the same level of activity.

@BraveNewClimate @allTheYud Of course. I have a spreadsheet with three years of daily weigh-ins taken first thing in the morning and I track the seven-day moving average. I also log calories, HRV, hours slept and more. I aim for +0.3% body weight/week in a bulk and -0.5%/week in a deficit.
