The #AfricanGroupUN convened a timely informal discussion on “Africa’s Development & Peace” with Ms. @ChristinaDuarte , Ms. @ahunnaeziakonwa, and Ms. @pobee_martha. The exchange underscored the need for debt reform, domestic resource mobilization, investment in Africa’s human capital, stronger AU-UN cooperation, predictable financing for AU-led peace operations, and inclusive peacebuilding.
The group reaffirmed that achieving #Agenda2063 requires African ownership, resilient institutions, and a #UNReform that advances Africa’s development priorities.
