💥IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT/ACTIVISM NOTICE My wife @EileenDay1098 and I are going to attend Ian’s sentencing hearing on 9/11 @ 10AM in concord (see below), and I urge you to attend and share this tweet to as many people as possible. Ian has been one of the most influential people on the planet in promoting liberty and the use of cryptocurrency as a way to separate money and state and enable freedom through voluntary exchange. For selling people Bitcoin (through ATMs and directly) Ian faces up to 70 years in prison. His sentencing is next Monday. Make no mistake, Ian was targeted BECAUSE he is an effective liberty activist. They want to make an example of Ian and chill the adoption of decentralized crypto, stifle his speech, and demoralize the broader liberty movement and Free State Project. We cannot let that happen and need to show up to support Ian in court. Ian has been a huge innovator in promoting and exemplifying liberty principles in action. He has been at the forefront of non-compliance and civil disobedience. He was incredibly early to Bitcoin. In fact, he introduced @rogerkver to Bitcoin. If Roger is Bitcoin Jesus, I don’t what that makes Ian (but I suspect he wouldn’t want the title or any deference to authority in any case). Through @FreeTalkLive, Ian and @1Medge1 have spread the ideas of liberty to millions and have been quite possibly the largest single driver of people to New Hampshire to join the Free State Project @FreeStateNH. Ian has been a constant force for holding the state accountable by filming court hearings and other activism events. Believe me, this is only a partial list of Ians efforts in the cause of liberty. Free Talk Live was one of the main reasons I moved to New Hampshire 14 years ago, and it was because of Ian that I got my first Bitcoin in 2012. When principled liberty activists are targeted by the state, I feel we should double down on our support. @90sfootball This was the year I started supporting inter!! Amazing team at the time but couldn’t win a trophy. Lost to Man Uniteds treble winning side in the quarter finals of the UCL that season too.
