In that blog post, I describe it in details, analyze some of its similarities with the Smart Money Indicator (ping @RelSentTech) and use it to build a tactical asset allocation strategy on the SPY ETF.
New blog post about a relative sentiment indicator built from the NAAIM Exposure Index and the AAII Asset Allocation Survey -> https://t.co/WU7RHeFxYb
That indicator, that I call the NAAIM-AAII Equities Allocation Spread, is originally due to Kevin Zatloukal.
New Portfolio Optimizer Web API endpoint to compute the "Return Information Signal" of an asset.
That indicator is an extension of the "Daily Return Information" indicator introduced in a relatively recent paper from Cakici et al. -> https://t.co/xH9GAAjem1
which takes its inspiration from Beckmeyer and Wiedemann's paper "All Days Are Not Created Equal: Understanding Momentum by Learning to Weight Past Returns" -> https://t.co/koaQjKisuH
