@mckaywrigley Do you know how it’s possible that they said they are losing money on o1 but o3 mini is now available for free? Subsidising o3 or was it an exaggeration on sam’s o1 comment?
@lexfridman Does anyone know how it’s possible that @sama said they are losing money on o1 but o3 mini is now available for free? Subsidising o3 or was it an exaggeration on his o1’s comment?
@benz145 If 600g is not heavy enough for long usage duration then yes. If it changes the duration distribution significantly to the point the avg user does not use above 30 min per session, it defeats the point of it all together
@DedalusDev It depends on the work, the onboarding and ramp up duration. One of my absolute killer of a hire was a fresh grad that left within 14 months but delivered huge value to the company in that time.
@benz145 Weren’t there apple patents on XR/VR from 2007 or so? I think XR would have been a natural platform to build towards but meta’s bullishness and features have seeded plenty of ideas in apple’s head. For example virtual desktops and productivity element of xr
@paulg My gut feeling is that likelihood of tech startup equity being much is lower in Europe and talents discount it. Best of them are attracted to big tech or migrate to US
@BenGeskin Absolutely correct. I hope in the vision os they put the ability to create variations of these as profiles that you can quickly swap between. So if i’m trading, it’ll open up all trading apps. If I’m programming, all dev stuff and so on and so forth. Otherwise too much clutter
@sergeyglkn I guess they would need to put some form of infrared light and the tip and end of the pencil and you’ll have to use the pencil on a hard surface like your desk or any where else to get varying pressures right. Mid air will be difficult to calculate if pressing hard or not
@Madisonkanna It will completely automate the technical implementation but the correctness and completeness of the program will be developer’s responsibility.
TDD will become the de facto mode of development. You’ll define the test criteria, the ai does the implementation

Excited about verifiable and micro-credentials in #DAOs but we are a long way away from having a decent system. There are open challenges like cross-chain identity, privacy, and standardised cross-DAO scoring that need to be solved. Listen to the talk 👇Link in comment
DAO tooling is expanding fast. Rightly so because every DAO and every team within a DAO will have a different need, served by different tools. Here is an interesting map of current tools

Designing Token Economies
The peace of the bear market will produce rich, creative, wild token economies. So @fkpxls & I teamed up to examine:
- How protocols & DAOs compare to companies and countries
- A framework for token design & analysis
