Yesterday, @WGYB_NGO joined #CSOs in a dialogue on safeguarding and #PSEA, convened by @unicefrw. The exchange strengthened shared learning on accountability systems, safe programming practices & the integration of PSEA into Ebola preparedness and response efforts.
Today at the @giz_rwanda Good Governance Cluster Office in Kigali, our Strategy and Development Manager, @ppcfrepresenta1, represented us at the Pre-Validation Meeting of the Guidelines for Community Reintegration of #GBV Victims in Rwanda.
The session brought key stakeholders, including the @RwandaGender, @giz_rwanda, @HDIRwanda, and the lead consultant, to review, refine, and harmonize this document.
Once adopted, the Guidelines will serve as a practical tool for communities, local leaders, service providers, and NGOs, guiding coordinated action to ensure GBV victims are provided with support, dignity, and meaningful reintegration.
We are proud to contribute to this work and remain committed to victim-centered solutions that leave no one behind. #EndGBV

Over the past two days (24th–25th March, 2026), @WGYB_NGO was honored to participate in a 2-day workshop on Designing, Monitoring, and Evaluating Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), organized by @chbrwanda in partnership with @UnescoEast and the @RBCRwanda.
We were inspired by the insights shared by @anicetnzab, who reminded us that:
“Young people still have an important role to play in advancing Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).”
The workshop deepened our understanding of #SRHR and strengthened our capacity to design evidence-based #CSE interventions, monitor teenage pregnancy trends, and apply results-driven M&E frameworks for greater impact.
We reaffirm our commitment to empowering young people with the knowledge, skills, and right tools they need to make informed choices and lead healthy lives.

Yesterday, we were honored to join @unicefrw and partners for a two-day Safeguarding & PSEA training, strengthening our shared responsibility to prevent harm and protect the dignity of every child and adult we serve.
The sessions enhanced our skills in risk assessment, safe reporting, and survivor-centered support.
We reaffirm our commitment to advancing a culture of protection and zero tolerance for abuse.

A beautiful day never truly ends, it lives on in the hearts and minds of all when it drives impact across generations.
Yesterday was truly inspiring and full of promise. Our #GreenRisingAmbassadors, representing multiple districts, joined their communities during the monthly #Umuganda to take part in tree planting activities.
We are proud to see how communities continue to transform by taking bold climate action through our #GreenRising Program. This transformation would not be possible without our valuable partners.
Grateful to @unicefrw, @RwandaYouthArts, and all our partners for their unrivaled and impactful support.
We remain committed to ensuring that every young person is informed, inspired, and empowered to take action for climate resilience, building together a happier, greener #Rwanda we can all call home.

Yesterday, our representative, @b_habintwali, took the stage at the Youth Academy on Climate Adaptation & Leadership in Kenya 🇰🇪, delivering an presentation that highlighted the impact of our #GreenRisingRwanda journey and how the monthly #Umuganda is being leveraged as a community-based climate change mitigation mechanism.
He presented how Green Rising, implemented in partnership with @RwandaYouthArts, @unicefrw, and @GenUnlimited_, has successfully mobilized young people to take localized climate adaptation and mitigation actions, contributing to broader global decarbonization and resilience-building efforts.
We are committed not only to sharing our story of climate resilience, rooted in the Rwandan context, but also to learning from the strategies of fellow youth leaders across different countries and considering scalable and context-appropriate solutions that will keep Rwanda a green, climate-resilient nation free from the adverse impacts of climate change.
This was more than just a presentation, it demonstrated the transformative potential of youth-led climate solutions in driving sustainable development and strengthening resilience at both local and global levels.
We remain committed to keeping youth-driven climate innovation at the heart of action in Rwanda, across Africa, and beyond!
We thank @RwandaYouthArts@unicefrw@GenUnlimited_ and other partners who believe in power of young people.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (@UM6P_officiel) from Morocco and @OCP_Africa, at our office, as part of a field visit under the ongoing project titled "Enhancing Capacity and Reducing Post-Harvest Losses in Kamonyi and Rubavu Districts." This initiative is being implemented by Master’s students @EricRukebesha and @IgihozoV , in collaboration with @WGYB_NGO.
The project is part of the Seed to Lead program, an initiative led by University Mohammed VI Polytechnic in partnership with local African organizations. The program supports student engagement through projects that generate meaningful social, environmental, and economic impact.
After a warm welcome at our office, the delegation visited farmers in @Kamonyi District, where we had the opportunity to engage with Agricotec (Abadatezuka ba Kamonyi Cooperative) and Ira Company, a local agribusiness.
The team will continue their visit to @RubavuDistrict to further assess project progress and deepen connections with local stakeholders, mainly farmers.
We are honored to contribute to advancing sustainable agriculture and improving food security through collaborative, community-centered efforts.
