@PopePiusIXStan@ThoughtfulSaint You don’t know all the details but you publicly stated that it was the LDS side backing out…despite not knowing all the details.
@DerwinLGray Sorry. Maybe I’m too dumb to get your point. But “responding to a preceding post” by quote tweeting a separate post makes it “not very clear”….IMHO.
@cdshaw99@ThoughtfulSaint@HeathTaws You’ve missed his entire point and evidently don’t know what a first hand account is. Hint, we also believe those 500 witnesses but they’re not first hand accounts.
@seanfeucht You realize that 1) the Bible hadn’t been compiled together when that was written and 2) Revelations wasn’t the last book that was written, right? You do know that Bible is arranged chronologically?
@JustinPetersMin@BasedMikeLee Comparing LDS beliefs in Jesus to Muslims and Buddhists is laughable. Anyone who makes such a comparison is either ignorant or not wanting to have a good faith conversation.
@Fair_and_Biased We DO believe you are Christian. Of course we have doctrinal differences. But we don’t claim you’re not Christian, or “believe in a different Jesus.”
@NoOnePortant@ASBaird Fortunately for us, it doesn’t matter whether or not we meet your definition of Christianity. Christ will be our judge. I’d suggest we come together on what we agree upon (Christ is our savior) and let him worry about who he considers to be true followers.
@bwreckfast_@ThoughtfulSaint Great, thank you for your service. 🫡
If I get deployed and get killed my battalion will hold some kind of service led by a chaps not of my faith. I’m actually deeply grateful for that. My family will hold a traditional LDS funeral when I’m buried.
@bwreckfast_@ThoughtfulSaint You’ve never served have you? You don’t get to choose your battalion’s chaplain. And if anyone, regardless of their faith, cares enough about me to read rites when I die I’d be grateful for their act of love. God isn’t going to send me to hell if a Hindu Chaps prays for me.
@bwreckfast_@ThoughtfulSaint 1. Comparing Muslim and LDS beliefs in Christ is laughable.
2. Is an evangelical Christian going to want a Catholic chaps or Jewish chaps reading rites? A battalion only gets one chaplain. They could be from any faith background.
