I have a smart meter in my flat. I’ve paid a monthly bill since I moved in. Suddenly after 3 years British Gas have decided their meter wasn’t giving correct readings and say I’m liable for their equipment not giving the correct information. How?!
@BritishGasHelp I have asked over and over to get a smart meter and nothing has been done. Your complaints department hasn’t helped, I was dealing with Nicola Vaughan who stopped replying to me months ago.
@BritishGas I was sent an email with my new tariff for the year £2847.92 and in the same day got a bill for 2 months electric use £2682.94! How does that make sense?! Absolutely shocking customer service! Been trying to change to a prepay meter for 6 months now!!
@BritishGas I honestly can’t be bothered to keep calling you! Nobody is helping resolve this. First pic, is apparently the amount of electric a 7 year old and myself have used in 2 months. The 2nd pic is what my annual usage is! This has been going on for 6 months!! Sort it out!
@GoldingHomes Is this acceptable, 2 days with raw sewage in my bathroom/hallway and communal hallway. Should of been decamped! I’ve cleaned so we were able to use our own facilities but all the flooring needs to be removed!

@BritishGas Does this look correct? This is the 3rd estimated bill that you have issued. I called numerous times, booked an appointment and then you cancel because apparently you can fix the issue with my meter remotely. But you just send another made up extortionate bill!
