@chandangoopta If you know until around 2011, Before forming Dept.Of IT, Nepal government had a High Level commission for Information Technology (HLCIT). I always believed we went in reverse when department was formed under public servants who donot know about ICT. We had to struggled a lot.

Bipin Joshi was only 23. A student from 🇳🇵Nepal who came to 🇮🇱Israel to learn agriculture and build a better future.

Bipin was taken hostage by Hamas from Kibbutz Alumim on October 7 and killed in captivity in Gaza.

Today, Israel held a farewell ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport. His body now flies home to Nepal.

An innocent life, full of promise, stolen too soon.

Bipin Joshi's family struggled so hard to get their son back.

He arrived in Israel 25 days before the massacre. The 23-year-old Hindu student from Nepal just wanted to study agriculture.

He wasn't Israeli. He wasn't Jewish. So the media won't talk about him because that will destroy their narrative that Hаmаs tеrrorists are freedom fighters.

But I will...

He was kidnapped, held in captivity, and murdеrеd in cold blood.

Bipin protected others by deflecting a grenade during the attack — saving lives even as he himself was abducted.

His final messages to his family were of strength and hope.

May Bipin's memory forever be a blessing.

This is the last known image of Bipin Joshi. A Hamas video filmed in November 2023, that they were planning to turn into one of their vile, psychological warfare propaganda hostage videos.

Last month, Hamas released a photograph of 48 hostages still held in Gaza, including Bipin, with the world to say "farewell

The bigger tragedy is not just Hamas' cruelty, but our own indifference. The world's indifference. While the world hears about the hostages from Israel, UK, America, and other countries, Bipin was forgotten. Because he is from a country nobody cares about. Nepal's government is in turmoil, characterised by instability. The government didn't have the resources for negotiations and lacks Middle Eastern geopolitical influence.

Ask yourself: Had Bipin been a Muslim youth from an Middle Eastern country, would the reaction have been the same? What if he was from Australia, New Zealand, China or Japan? We would know about him and governments would have raised hell to bring him home.

But Bipin is Hindu. His fate does not matter to Western elites who only find their voice when it suits their political narrative.
