• The Victory: Yielding to continuous petitions and protests, the British colonial government finally accepted the demand and declared Sunday a mandatory weekly off starting June 10, 1890.

Bankers will never forgive those 7 ufbu leaders who agreed for Sunday a public holiday under NI ACT working while we are agitating for Saturday off.
This is one decision which will haunt us forever and we will pay a heavy price for that in coming days .
Among ufbu bank based union AIPNBOF was the only officers union which refused to work on Sunday and facing management wrath for that .

How can @aiboc_in GS take unilateral decisions? Without informing it’s none of members constituents, It show weakest leadership & characters of Com @rupamsmail . He must be accountable to all and resign from his post. Inspite of strongest members with more than 3.00 lakhs, AIBOC GS has no guts to fight against injustice. Have AIBOC GS no faith on its such mass members ? Are AIBOC GS was always under pressure in UFBU ? Members deserve answers not silence.

I have received thousands of messages/replies since yesterday. One thing I observed is that all bankers are tired of the present Union leaders and all of us want change in leadership. My only wish is that whoever emerges as our new leader with a new majority union should be a current banker who is currently in service and has seen/experienced present-day banking and work culture.
